I'm currently reading A Games Of Thrones by George R. R. Martin. And Unravel Me second novel in the Shatter Me series by Tahereh Mafi. Both of them are really good and I enjoy a lot reading them.

I'm currently reading
City of Glass by Cassandra Clare which is the third book in the Mortal Instruments series. The first two books were fantastic and the third one is even better. At first I didn't think I'd like it that much, but I love it! A friend recommended the book to me after she saw the movie and I'm really glad I read it. :)Anyway, the books are about a girl named Clary. She finds out she's a shadowhunter (a demon killer) after her mom goes missing. She meets Jace, Isabelle and Alec who are also shadowhunters. In the beginning they look down at her because they think she's a mundane (a human) and they don't get along well. Clary has to find this thing called the Mortal Cup(that's one of the mortal instruments) so she can trade it for her mother.
I'm not really good at summary because I always spoil too much so I'll stop here.

The two main books I am currently reading areWar and Peace passed 1000 pages now, yay!
And
The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared got this one because of the title and it is amazing.
I am currently reading The Call Of The Wild And Selected Stories part of the cover challenge on this group
Gonna read
now. I have this weird thing where I'm really intrigued by serial killers...feel free to be disturbed now
I'm about halfway through
and it is very good so far. I have been checking out the books everyone here is reading and I am intrigued by Cinder and Scarlet. Have added them to read.
I am currently reading Winger:
! I am more than halfway through it, which makes me sad since I really like it. The main character is funny and witty and relatable. I just love the way the author portrays the main character's POV. Plus, it has some comics here in there every few chapters drawn by Ryan Dean (main character) which are funny and always make me laugh out loud :)

It really is! I'll admit it might not be the type of book for everyone but if you ever do read it, I hope you like it.

Just finished Last Exit To Brooklyn for the cover challenge, amazing book, pretty brutal in places. Now I am on Carmilla for the October challenge.
I'm now reading
which I actually bought in London. I need a break from all my class reads. Maybe it will help me to understand Jason better lol
Is it weird that I have never read Dr. Seuss at all? In Germany we don't grow up with his books, same goes for Roald Dahl which I think is such a shame
I think how much you like Dr Seuss is down to how it is read to you, if you can get the rhyming perfect and have a silly voice too it can be great fun.
I maybe try out some Dr. Seuss when I'm finished with my uni booksBtw currently reading Black Swan Green by David Mitchell aka Cloud Atlas guy, which I also haven't read. Hopefully it will be better than the last two books I had to read for class
I have just started 2 books, both were freebies from new authors on goodreads, very nice of them to give me copies.they are
Grundish and Askew
Spark
So far both are really good.
I just started
and i'm already hooked :DDidn't think it would be this funny :)
Pet Sematary is such a great book. One of my favorites by King :)
That creepy cat...
Ashleigh wrote: "Jason wrote: "Just started Hunger Games. So far pretty zzzzzzzzzz"Book #2 is better, keep reading it is actually good"
I agree the second one is the best in the trilogy.
I just started to read Pride and Prejudice because my friend loves it. Usually I woud stay far away from it
Jason wrote: "Also just started a clockwork orange, really looking forward to this one."Oooo sounds great. Let me know what you think of this one!
Just finished reading Piercing It wasn't what I expected, & I'm a little disappointed as I read the book from a recommended list of "scariest books to read". Not scary in a horror way, but a disturbing way. I really didn't find it that disturbing & I expected a lot more! I love true crime books & stories so I've read a lot more crazy things than this book!
Hi Nicole, a clockwork orange is interesting so far, certainly not for everybody, the author has created lots of new words and I am have to re-read bits to figure out what they mean, flowing really well though.Have you read American psycho? Probably the most disturbing book I have ever read.
Haven't read American Psycho, but I've seen the movie. Although that was a long time ago. Maybe I can fit it into the 2015 reading challenge at some point!
Yes I would recommend it, worth looking into if it got banned as it would fit that slot. prepare to be disturbed. hehe
I am currently reading Mapp and Lucia
which is the fourth book in the series and like the others it is wickedly funny, I can't recommend them enough. I am also readingOne Kick
Started reading
as a book with bad reviews (couldn't quite get myself to read Shades of Grey, this at least seems to have a bit better writing). And i already had the urge to throw it against a wall :DBut at the moment it's not that bad so i'll try to finish it :D
Currently reading
The Selection
GoneEnjoying both so far. Finding gone a bit hard as there's all these little children calling out for their mum and being a new mum I just want to save them all feed and kiss them and put them to bed........

Kay wrote: "I find books get better after a good wall throwing :) "
I'm not sure it got better afterwards :D
But i'm through even though the ending was really bad (and alspo a cliffhanger so i would have to read the second one... i'm not sure i want that..).
Back to
which is much better :D
