OMG IKR!! I recently reread Heir of Fire and I guess it just slipped my mind that they were related in the beginning. I found the page after my friend being unsure.

Aelin is Mab's offspring, Rowan Mala's. They were alive sooo many centuries ago, that it's been so long Rowan is probably more related to his neighbour he doesn't know than he is to Aelin. So you can compare it with us basically also being family if you look an amount of centuries back.
Team Chaol for the win... even if he is married and all now to Yrene
Honestly I was hoping that she would end up with Chaol, but after the whole Crown of Midnight FIASCO, I realized that I could care less about what Aelin does with her life (Rowan) and I love Chaol so much that I don't care who he ends up with, as long as he is happy. I am just glad that he has Dorian and now Yrene.
Who else shipped Dorian and Chaol a little bit?

Those two have so many generations of separation, that I feel it isn't really incest anymore. I get why you're uncomfortable though. But, like a 300-year age gap, it's creepy as hell, but it's also just going to be in about every fae romance you come across.
