September 2017 Monthly Challenge – Reading Chain
Duration: September 1st, 2017 – September 30th, 2017

Make the books you read in September connect somehow!
Since this is only a one-month challenge, there are lots of ways you can connect your books!

Your first book is up to you, but choose wisely! The next book must connect to it somehow. Here’s a list of the connections you have available:
★ Features the Same Paranormal/Fantasy Creature (Must be the main creature, not just a creature that made an appearance.)
★ Same Word in the Title (A, An, The, And, etc. do not count. Also, if the word is plural, it must be plural in both titles. For example, Witch does not work with Witches and Tooth does not match Teeth.)
★ Same Author First or Last Name (You may use the same author as a connection only once per author!)
★ Same Item on the Cover (This does not count for human figures, unless it’s the same model/pose…like this → )
★ Same Color Cover (Since there are other ways to make a connection, the cover needs to be predominantly one color, and the shades must be very similar!)
★ Published the Same Year (Please use the publication year of the book you actually read/listened to, don’t just search Goodreads to find one posted in the year you need)


Our Standard Challenge Rules:
✎ When you sign up for the challenge, please post some kind of a place saver so that I can link you up under the participants. Once you have decided on your books, just edit that post so that the link under the Participants List will go to your list!

✎ When you finish reading a book, please edit your post and add the date completed.

✎ You may only use each book once in the challenge, but feel free to use the same titles in other challenges!

✎ When you complete the challenge, please copy and paste your entire, completed list as a brand new message to make it easier for everyone to see what you've read, and to have your name marked as complete/finished/done/however you want to show you read them all!.

✎ If you decide that you've bitten off more than you can chew, feel free to let me know you'd like to downgrade, or even back out of the challenge. Please do not delete the post. It will mess up the links to other participants' postings if you do.
