Agnes Grey, so far it's interesting.
I'm currently reading far too many books. I am reading:
I need to finish up some of these soon, so I can get back to a more reasonable number!
I'm ever so slowly making my way through
I wasn't sure about this 'modern classic' at first (and it is a huge book!), but it has definitely grown on me. I'm still only about half way through but I'm determined to finish it over the next week
On audio I have
which is a fun Patterson novel with, no doubt, dark twists on the horizon. Reminds me of that 90s movie Cruel Intentions a little

The military parts were just not that interesting to me. I recently picked it up again and started over. I'm just past where I stopped last time and I'm enjoying it more this time.

Please let me know how that is, I've been wanting to read it for a while now.
I'm reading the 1971 horror novel Hell House. I like a quote so much that is my current computer background along with my favorite cover of the book -
"Welcome to my house, I’m delighted you could come. I am certain you will find your stay here most illuminating. It is regrettable I cannot be with you, but I had to leave before your arrival. Do not let my physical absence disturb you, however. Think of me as your unseen host and believe that, during your stay here, I shall be with you in spirit."

I am currently reading 'Neverwhere' by Neil Gaillman. I hope to finish it this week. It is an intesting story with interesting characters but so far (page 107) it doesn't make much sense so Im hoping on someclarification near the middle or end of the book
Currently reading Me, Him, Them and It by Caela Carter and so far it's been an okay read. It's been heavier then I expected.
I'm currently reading The Royal Ranger, the last book in the Rangers Apprentice series by John Flanagan. I'm also reading Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand as part of my summer reading assignment for school. It's a bit hard to get through because it's non-fiction, but I'm enjoying it :)
@Lizzy - I've only read up to book 4 of the Ranger's Apprentice series as that was all that was available on audio from the library. I should pick up book 5 some day before I forget the storyline too much! How are you finding the last book so far?
I've read the first two books in the Catherine Mans series Bet you can't... Find MeEternal Beauty great mystery series. now I'm starting on I, Alex Cross first book I've read by James Patterson in a while, I've heard this one is a good one though.
hi! i just finished Beautiful Oblivion :) i got it yesterday and i get book hangover but it was good
I'm a couple chapters into The Celebration Chronicles: Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Property Value in Disney's New Town by C.S. Lewis. Written back in the late 90s, it's the story of a journalist's year-long experiment living in a town that was engineered by the Disney Company. The town, Celebration, is supposed to combine the charm and nostalgia of a sleepy, rural area (think Main Street, U.S.A.) with the latest technological advancements and quality education and healthcare. It's a decent read so far, but nothing like what I expected. Celebration seems far more nightmarish than utopian.
I have finished Solace in Scandal - Kimberly Dean, was a enticing read. Now I think I will read Black Swan Rising - Lee Carroll.
I´ve almost finished Mockingjay and after this I´ll be reading Last Night I Sang to the Monster. Mockingjay is such a pageturner for me. I like it so much more than the other two books in the trilogy.
I'm currently reading Orphan Train. I started it reading it today and now I'm almost halfway through the book.
Am currently reading
and truly loving the way the author has written the book. Its lyrical in its presentation. Am also reading
, which is in complete contrast to the earlier book but equally enjoyable. Loving both my reads.
Celeste - I agree Mockingjay was my favouriteSchuylar - That is a wonderful book. One of my surprise reads this year
Kai - I'm reading that at the moment too, it is lovely
Srividya - Loche Lamora was one of my favourite books this year. I had the audio which was great
Jimmy - That is another great Green book. I'd also recommend Will Grayson, Will Grayson if you like his work
Mega - woohoo! Have you read them before? JKR just released a short story about the characters c.15 years on
Myrthe - That is a good series, but can be pretty divided in how people feel about it at the end. I really enjoyed it

I loved Confessions of a Murder Suspect and Private School Murders was good in my opinion as well, but Confessions of a Murder Suspect is still my favorite so far. :-)
Doon by Carey Corp I have been looking forward to this book since about Sept of last year. Glad I finally got my hands on it. :-)

Well Jimmy I *finally* finished it after about 5 weeks (I just kept getting distracted by other books) and I am really glad I read it. The first part I found difficult to get into it, but it didn't take long for me to really enjoy the story. He is clearly a natural storyteller, albeit not a fabulous writer, and I think he took a lot of poetic licence (eventhough he apparently claimed it was about 75% fact). It is still a great story with, I think, lots of historical value and I think for people that are interested in history and character driven books it is worth the read
I'm currently in The Guns of August by Barbara W. Tuchman. Her writing style is a bit thick, but it is a very interesting read.
Colleen wrote: "I'm reading,
."How is that book? It was recommended to me before and I have yet to try it.
