Mine is steadily climbing and hardly chipping away at it. Have a feeling it will always be like that. Earlier in 2013 I trimmed quite a bit of romance I had bought in surprise bags for $5.00 that I knew weren't themes I would be interested in. I have several books from authors in my collection I haven't read yet. Will try Nicholas Sparks one more time but if it doesn't work again will give the rest of those away unread.
I'm reading everything once and giving it to charity shops afterwards at the moment because I just don't have the room to keep them.
I have a bunch of authors I collect, I keep all their books, but most 1-2 star reads go to friends or charity or my book club.
I have a growing stack of books that I either know I'm not going to read again or have gotten in digital so I can let go of the paper version book and I don't really know what to do with them. I'd rather give them to someone I know will read them than to send them to charity shop oblivion but my friends are not big readers.

Does your town have a used book store?
Does your town have a used book store?
