Kwame The setting of the crusades is in the 1100s where the Christians & Muslims were fighting against each other to spread their religion over the world. The Muslims had lost a lot of land & it was taken over by the Christians & then the Muslims went to get their land back. They both took over cities from the other religion & the Crusades ending in 1291.
