I looked at a couple of editions, even downloaded an ebook, and it seems there are some differences. It works out to about ten chapters per week, but I can try to list the chapters individually each week when I post the section, or maybe post the last line of that section. I'll figure out some way to make sure everyone knows where they're supposed to be.

Thanks, Marie. :) Hope you are well and safe.

Marie I had read this just months ago and put in a review here as well, so I'll not be reading it again, but will join in the discussion?

Please, join away. There's no need to be currently reading the book, we would all enjoy your thoughts.

The Woman in White famously opens with Walter Hartright's eerie encounter on a moonlit London road. Engaged as a drawing master to the beautiful Laura Fairlie, Walter is drawn into the sinister intrigues of Sir Percival Glyde and his 'charming' friend Count Fosco, who has a taste for white mice, vanilla bonbons and poison. Pursuing questions of identity and insanity along the paths and corridors of English country houses and the madhouse, The Woman in White is the first and most influential of the Victorian genre that combined Gothic horror with psychological realism.
