R&P is currently accepting submissions for 2014, 2015, and 2016.

We encourage lesbian, asexual, gay, transgender, bisexual, pansexual, agender, disabled, queer, fluid, and undefinable characters. We encourage characters of all ethnicity, backgrounds, histories, futures, and employments.

If your book crosses genre lines, we want it. If your characters aren't 'mainstream' we want them. If you write genre stories where the sexualities of your characters are NOT the focus, we want you!

We accept story lengths as follows:
Short stories: 5,000 to 19,999 words
Novellas: 20,000 to 49,999 words
Novels: 50,000 to 100,000+ words

Submissions of 30,000 words or more will be offered in e-book and print.

You will receive confirmation within 48 hours and a decision within 3 weeks. Rooster and Pig accepts unfinished or partial manuscripts for consideration!
