This ship can be either platonic or romantic. The show gives you the codependency and the fics give you the romance.

Yes, they are really close. I liked the episode Mystery Spot. It showed the funny personality of Dean and how willing is Sam to protect him.

I started watching it this year. Went through the first seasons in a few weeks. If you like urban legends you will probably enjoy the show.

Haha, same. But I see it more as who has better chemistry. Sometimes the relationship between the best friends has more depth than the romantic one who happens to be heterosexual.

Yeah exactly. That's totally true. All and all it comes down to who actually works together and who they're happiest with.

Yes. I get really surprised whenever someone labels m/m relationships as a 'bromance'. It's like 'we know you are very close, and if one of you were of the other sex I would totally ship it... But no homo!'

That annoys me. Like seriously. Yes I understand that some gigs are just close and not gay but that's different. But when something clearly has chemistry or is even real and you won't ship it just because it makes you uncomfortable, that's stupid. Like I'm sorry you're slightly homophobic but cry me a river, build me a bridge, and get over it.

Exactly, but I think is mostly because of the assumption that most of the people/characters are straight. I remember before going into fandom, I was really surprised that parings like Draco/Harry and Sasuke/Naruto had so many fans. After a while it got easier for me to focus on the story line rather than gender of the characters. And now I just ship what I want.

Story Time: So today I went to the mall. I wanted to go to Hot Topic . I saw a lot of Doctor Who and Supernatural things. But then... I saw it. It was a cardboard cutout of Sam. It had a sign that said: "For only $34.97(I forgot what the price was), you can have me in your room every night ;)." It had a little wink! All I thought of was Dean buying it! I was laughing so hard!
