How do Bad Things and In Flight mix together?

Tristan was introduced in In Flight when he was doing the magic show at the Vegas hotel owned by Cavendish. we are then also introduced to Dannika briefly at the same time. Frankie also has a bit of a role in both because we meet her in In flight as well - given her close friendship with our leading man.
think of Bad Things as the spin-off - even though it happens before In Flight in chronological order.
You should finish In Flight series before you finish the Bad Things series, otherwise you will be spoiled for In Flight. It's a shame that Tristan and Danika's relationship status was spoiled in the In Flight series, but it's unavoidable.
i don't know that it was spoiled in In Flight - since we didn't get the whole back story. the path that Bad Things takes is an interesting one since you think that you know what's going to happen, but you don't know the path that it will take.
My point was that Tristan and Danika are revealed to be broken up in the In Flight series, but they don't start out that way in Bad Things....It makes things a little less enjoyable knowing that their initial union isn't going to last.
Mary - That's one of the things that I loved, knowing Tristan (view spoiler). It was the when, why and how that kept me turning the pages. Now I may have felt differently if the reason was lame, but I thought it was perfect.
Oh gosh! Well I'm glad that I never read the last book in the in flight series because I have no idea what your talking about ... But I'm mid book and I have no idea what's going on with Tristan he's so confusing!

I almost think the author should give us a new sequence to read these (for new readers) like Up in the Air then Bad Things then Rock Bottom then Mile High then Grounded then Lovely Trigger (or whatever sequence would cause the least spoilage).
I love the way RK set us up for Tristan and Danika, it really made wonder what the hell happen between them and I'm glad I read the whole In Flight Series before, because the interwove beautifully. I think In Flight series should be read first.

OK SOOOOO....IF you haven't read Bad Things then STOP READING NOW BECAUSE THERES GONNA BE SOME SPOILERSSS!!!!!
--OK so I'm over half way through the book and wtf. So Tristin just got pissed at her and stop talking to her and I'm so freaking confused... idk I just feel like i don't get him and i don't feel the love between them now idk!!! Do things get better?????
Meg - Keep reading. This series is awesome. I just did a re-read of all three and I think I liked it better the second time.
This book is my least favorite of the series. I thought the beginnning was really slow. This is actually the rare series that builds momentum and gets better as it goes along. You won't see the vision fully executed without reading through it.
Tristan and Danika are introduced on the In Flight series.. this book / series is entirely their story.. its a prequel.. prior to in flight.. you'll get my point as you read along.. enjoy..
I loved this series. Bad Things is the first book in the series and it sets the plot for the rest of the series. By the last book you can see the changes in Tristan. He really redeems himself.
