If I Break discussion

I just recently finished this book, and it is all that I can think about. Most specifically the Cal/Chris alter personalities. I think there is something breathtakingly beuatiful in the fact that Lauren is not giving up on Cal, and most importantly, he is not giving up on her, although he is trapped by Chris' alter. And this theme of dual personalities has my reevaluating the relationships of couples that I read and of people in my own life. Most of the time, we slowly become another person, slowly conform to what we think our partner wants; almost like an alter. Sometimes this change stays, and sometimes we revert back to our former selves. I don't know what to think anymore. Anybody else want to share their thoughts, opinions?

Usually I read the same type of books so I can tell the direction of story or guess the big reveal before it's actually revealed.....I can say for sure I was not prepared for that....I think the author did an excellent job at surprising me....I was sad because I just wanted more I wanted him to be Cal....but I can't wait for book 2...Although Chris seems like a nice guy I want Cal

I can't stop thinking about this book either. One of my favorite books! This is probably the best book I read this year. So much emotion. I truly felt bad for Lauren. I can't wait for book #2. I hope Chris falls in love with Lauren...I mean, it's technically him although not really...

I so agree with this there is just something about Cal. Yeah Chris is nice and I like him but Cal had so much passion about him. I am waiting to get the 2nd book to read and 1.5 I can't wait best story I ever read. 2 days later and I'm still emotional unable to think of anything else. I've even reread it :) I was so shocked at the end. I never expected what was really going on!

There is definitely something about Cal. Anyone else hoping that it's eventually revealed that Chris is the alter and not Cal?! Now that's a twist I would love.

I really enjoyed this series and want more. I hope the author gives us more.... I am invested into this series!!
