Tricia Nociti It would be really easy to use political bias to rate this book and give it the same five stars. However, I'm trying to actually step back and rate it as a political memoir...and the rating stands.

An unvarnished look into the campaign that will make history for so many reasons. No need to explain the significance of it. However, instead of using this platform to lay blame and cast aspersions, Secretary Clinton is honest, uncompromising, and unflinching as she assumes responsibility for the loss of her historic Presidential run; while at the same time sussing out the more personal attacks and vitriol that were cast upon her throughout, the unprecedented ugliness and how she chose to address it, and, ultimately, the surprise turned anguish as it became clear that the election was lost.

As she ends, rather than being dismal, doomsday, or angry, she becomes outright inspiring in her call for all of us to work toward whatever political end we desire.

It's written in a completely accessible style. No pretense and not heavy handed. I will be re-reading when I need political inspiration. I will also be re-reading when times are hard on a personal level and I need another example of grace and resilience from a tough as nails woman. Brilliant.
