sally!! (seabunny2004) I wasn't sure what to put this novel under, but I guess it's contemporary. And many people may think of Wonder (the book that sparked my love of reading) as a middle-grade book, rather than a young adult. But I just love this book so much!!!

I have decided to post one of Mr. Browne's precepts for every month, because I think that they are all inspiring and just lovely to hear (read). And, most of all, I believe in kindness, so I just think these are so fun! :D

If you haven't read Wonder yet, I strongly recommend it for all ages! It is a moving story about a boy named August who was born with a facial deformity, and he is beginning fifth grade and his first year at a real school. Through Auggie's and many of his relatives/new friend's perspectives, we come to understand the true meaning of kindness, friendship, and the thoughtfulness of others. I love it so.

I understand people rate it for middle school kids, because it follows a 5th grader. But I think everyone should read Wonder and I'm pretty sure anyyone would learn something from it, because it's a really powerfull book.
