Demetria was walking around the town square when she made a wrong turn. She continued to walk when she saw a beautiful clock tower. Although she had seen many beautiful things before she had never seen something this beautiful. She loved it.
Although she was a member of nobility she didn't look like it. She had on a simple light blue dress that reached her ankles and her long curly blonde hair was in a half ponytail. On her feet were a pair of plain flats. The only item on her that a noble would wear was a silver locket that had a small sapphire in the center.

Aster was walking through the town, wearing a dusty old dress with a brown cloak over her shoulders. Her hair was tied neatly in a bun and she had put a hood on just to protect herself. She walked slowly and softly, hoping to remain unheard. Her eyes were on the platinum blonde haired girl that was walking towards the clock tower. She seemed simply dressed but her adornments told her that she was quite rich. It wouldn't matter much if one of her jewelleries got stolen. At least her family would have some good food by selling the necklace.
Demetria was mesmerized by the clock tower. It was simply stunning. She took a couple of steps towards the tower. She knew that she would want to come back sometime soon but she couldn't how she got there. She tried to remember.
Aster was quick and swift of her feet. When she was near that girl she changed into a sparrow and went near the girl. Within seconds the small sparrow had snatched the necklace away off her neck and at that moment she turned into human again and made a run. She knew every street so escaping from this girl would be easy.
Demetria turned around as soon as she felt that her necklace was gone. She saw the sparrow that had her necklace turn into a girl. She started to run after the girl but it was no use. Her mother's necklace was gone and there was nothing she could do about it. She turned back towards the clock tower and walked towards the steps. She sat down and started to cry.
((What if Aster possibly realizes that she dropped something at the clock tower and returns? Demetria wouldn't know that Aster was the one that has her necklace because she didn't get a very close look at Aster before Aster ran off.))
((Sure!!))
Aster, after running a few blocks pocketed the necklace inside. She sighed and streched. Just then she realised that she didn't have her knife in the sheath, which generally hung from her left hip. Oh, no! She couldn't lose her knife! That was her weapon! She hunted with it and it was good for protection and fights. Did she drop it while running? With a sigh, she pulled the hood more down and started making her way back. Her eyes were on the streets as she looked around for her stupid knife!

Demetria looked up from her palms to see something reflecting in the sun. She stood up and walked towards it. She picked it up off of the ground and discovered that it was a knife. She wondered where it came from and who it belonged to.
Aster had reached the spot and looked around. She needed her knife. It had always been an important part of her livelihood and knives were costly. She couldn't afford to buy another solid and a good one. A frown formed on her lips when she couldn't find it anywhere. Did someome pick it up?
Demetria continued to study the knife. It felt weird having a weapon in her hand. She looked up and noticed a girl. It looked like the girl was looking for something. Demetria wondered if the knife belonged to her.
Aster looked up and looked around. Her eyes fell on the girl. Why was she still here? But then she saw what was in her hand. It was her knife. She narrowed her eyes and walked towards the girl before snatching it from her. "That's mine!"she said.
"Oh.... I just found it on the ground and I wasn't sure who it belonged to," Demetria replied. She stepped back away from the girl. Demetria had no weapons with her and the girl now had a knife in her hand and could have others weapons that Demetria didn't know about.
Aster nodded, the knife still in her hand. She was the same girl but thankfully she didn't realise that she was the one who had stolen the necklace. Good! The more inconspicuous she was, the better but that didn't mean she couldn't scare her. She leaned with a smirk, her knife still in position for any attack. "Days are bad. Be careful."she whispered before turning away.
Demetria stepped forward and stopped Aster from leaving. With all of her courage she asked, "Did you by any chance see a girl run off with a necklace?" Demetria couldn't believe that she was doing this but she wanted the necklace back and thought that since she helped this girl maybe..... just maybe they'd help her.
Aster sighed at question and leaned against a wall when she asked the question. She knew she had to lie. She couldn't give that necklace to her. "No..no, I didn't see any girl."she said and started to walk away. She didn't like lying but there were times she had to do it.
Demetria was disappointed but she understood. She watched as the girl turned around and that was when it hit her. She thought about it but she wouldn't let herself believe that her thoughts were true. She had to find out. Another rush of courage entered her system as she caught up with the girl.
"I don't want to be a pest but are you absolutely sure you didn't see who took my necklace. The necklace means a lot to me and even if you have a guess as to where it is I really would appreciate you telling me."

Aster was very much irritated now by the question. She turned and looked at the girl with narrowed eyes. "I don't care about your stupid necklace. Leave me alone! Just leave me alone!"she said and glared at the girl. She didn't wanted to talk about it. She wanted to get away from this girl as soon as possible. "Don't pester me with your questions."she told her before again walking away.
Demetria's walked around the girl and stopped right in front of her. Tears were starting to trickle down her cheeks but she didn't care. She was hurt.
"That necklace wasn't just a stupid necklace. It was my mother's and she..... she and my sister."
Demetria couldn't finish her sentence. The thought of remembering that tragic moment tore her to pieces and all she could do was cry and hope that the girl had some sympathy for her.

Aster groaned and rolled her eyes. She knew if this girl started to cry more, she would give the necklace back. After all she was not a bad girl. She had a good heart. "Uuggh...just leave me alone, will you? I have a knife, you can see that. If I want I can just grab you and slit your throat right now."she said and pointed the weapon at her, her eyes glaring at the girl.
"Just go," Demetria said through tears. She had given up the search for her mothers necklace. This girl didn't have it and it was clear that Demetria was being a pest by bothering her. Demetria continued to cry.
Aster sighed at the girl when she started to cry. Those cries seemed to hit her ear so bad. She felt bad inside. Gently, she pulled the necklace from her pocket and gently dropped it on the ground so it wouldn't break. Let her find that herself. And then she made her way home, with nothing.
Demetria looked up from her hands to see Aster walk away. She felt bad. She knew that she didn't mean what she said. She started to walk towards Aster to apologize when she noticed something on the ground. It couldn't be possibly be, but it was. It was her necklace. She picked it up off of the ground and put in in her pocket. Then she wiped away her tears with her sleeve. A huge smile appeared on her face. She looked up again but she couldn't see Aster. She felt really bad and she knew that she had to do something.
((Almost. I have an idea. Can you go?))
((I was thinking that Aster would be walking back when Demetria flies towards her as an owl. Then she gives Aster something before flying away.))
((They could still be here or maybe in the town square.))
((Great and it's alright. Can you post first?))
