Her siblings were also killed in front of her she wanted to escape so badly she almost was killed. She got away from the killer and his son but running away the killer was in pursuit of her. She fell down a ditch with him hitting her head harshly. Her killer landed on top of her with a broken neck and a stick going through his spine. Janelle was in the ditch for three days freezing and almost dying. When she was found she was so traumatized she thought the boy was going to come back for her and kill her she was that scared to death. Growing up she lived with her best friend and her family since she had no more family left. She grew up being raised the money her parents had for her was used for her psychologist and school tuition all the way through. She has nightmares every night about the boy and her families death to scared to move on it was such a traumatic event for her. Now she's older working as an actress, and an author though sometimes she does photography and modeling for the movies she does very often though.
Lovelle drove in the traffic heading to dinner she called Dean to tell him she would be late since the traffic was so bad. They were having their anniversary dinner. Once traffic finally started moving again she drove to the restaurant letting the valet take her car she got the present for him and her shawl just in case fixing her dress the restuarant was a fancy new one. She went inside telling the reservation name to the waiter behind led inside to the table greeting Dean.
Dean was surprisingly well dressed. Typically he hated being in clothing that made him feel... Like upper class. He saw Lovelle walk in the room, and he put on a very nice smile. He had done his best today to hide his tattoos and put away all of his piercings, since people at fancy places typically tend to look down upon them. However, today was almost a two in one kind of day. Or rather, a two sides of the coin kind of day, where two were flipped and either one landed on either side. Today Dean remembered something very important to him... and something very dead. Happy Anniversary on two accounts.
Lovelle smiled at him walking over to the table. "Hi Hun I'm so sorry I'm late the traffic was so bad today." She kissed his cheek sitting down across from him. "Happy Anniversary Dean." She gave him her gift she knew he needed a knew watch and she saw the one he liked it was on sale and decided it would be a perfect gift. With his name engraved into it made it so special to her.
Dean smiled as he opened up the gift and saw the silver and pink gold Rolex, his name engraved at the bottom. "How sweet of you." He put the watch on quickly and picked up a gift for her from under the table. "It just so happens that I got you something as well." He pushed box to her. Like he had figure she felt about the watch, he felt the same about the locket that he had gotten for her, their initials engraved on the outside of the locket, their picture snug on the inside.
Lovelle smiled at him. "Thank you." She took the box and opened it seeing the beautiful lock with their initials engraved into it. She opened it looking at the picture she smiled. "Thank you Dean it's beautiful. She took it out of the box carefully and put it on her it was so beautiful to her.
"So... Shall we eat?" Dean asked her. There were two things on his mind at the moment, neither of which he knew how to deal with at the moment. For all rights and purposes, she was the reason that his father was a rotting carcass somewhere in the ground. On the other hand, she was also beautiful, and it would be a shame to see her go out by his hands. Trying to figure out how to go about the situation, he puts on a smile and tries to hide what he can from her.
"Sure." She looked at the menu ordering with him so happy births anniversary triggered memories but was fine she could handle all of it she doesn't want to think about it. Yes it was her family's death anniversary but she would mourn later so she won't face Dean once she does Mourn she never told him so she feels a bit guilty because she us keeping secrets. "How was work?" She asked Him curiously.
"Work was good. Got a new contract. A couple eight of a millions are going to come our way, so that's nice. And your work? How was that today? Exceptional as usual?" He took a look at the menu as well. The crab sounded nice right now... but messy.
"Work was interesting more exceptional. Some visitors came to the studio to watch what we got so far done." She admitted to him thinking about it everything has been great though. She continues looking at the menu not sure what to order at all.
"That sounds like everything went quite well." He paused for a moment. "How's your director doing? I've heard that he fractured a vertebrae." He flipped the page on the menu a couple of times, then pointed to everything -for his own reference- as he vocalised it. "I'm thinking about having crab with every course. Perhaps we can start with some Crab Rangoon as an appetiser. What do yo think?"
"He's doing good but just has been really tired lately. So his assistant is doing most of the work but he still comes when he's allowed too." She looked at the menu reading what it says about the crab. "I think that is a good chose I've been in the mood for crab so that is good." She said to him she hasn't ate crab in a long time so it's a great thing to do today.
"That's great. Good that he's doing well for himself I suppose. I'm thinking crab stuffed fish afterwards. What are you thinking?" The small talk was bugging him ever so slightly. They always talked about the small things, so he really didn't know that to do with the situation. However, he could go at least a few more minutes humouring her until the waitress or waiter rolled around to serve take their orders. He could also do with a nice cold beverage, but that could wait as well.
"The Crab stuffed fish next is wonderful. Maybe the crab steak salad next?" It was all actually good price for their meals it was going to be good to eat. She had a discount for the place here so it was really good that she could pay her coupon here for the both of them. She kept reading the menu she knew that Dean doesn't the small talk they are doing. It somehow always happened the small talk isn't so bad though it's better then what they could be talking about like their past or how their family is. She looked up once the waiter came to get their orders.
"We're going to have the crab rangoon to start, and if you would, could you get us a bottle of Merlot, whatever year you have available." He hated wine. But since they met, he had a hunch that she enjoyed the taste of it, so he put up with the fact that she likely did. "Is there anything else that you find interesting that you would like to try love?"
The waiter wrought it all down. "No I'm fine." Lovelle said to him taking his hand in hers rubbing it. "Alright I'll bring you what you need soon sir." The waiter walked away giving the order to the chef's and getting a famous bottle of Merlot bringing it over to them after getting a few more orders. He went over to them explaining it and pouring into their glasses. "Is there anything else that you both need?" he asked them in a polite way.
"No thank you, I think that we are set for the moment and a few moments to come." As the waiter walked away, Dean looked at Lovelle with almost worried eyes. "Are you alright? You seem a bit stress. I could feel it in your hand. A bit shaky you were."
Lovelle tried not to shake at the same time as holding his hand though she couldn't help it at all. "I'm alright just its not just our anniversary tonight. It's a memory for me." She said to him she doesn't want to talk about it but she was failing at hiding it the way she would hide it even before she was good she was just loosing the control she has on hiding it now. She couldn't help it now she looked at him in the eyes trying to relax but couldn't help it.
