I took upon myself to read "Absence of Blade" as I felt this book was not getting enough attention.

I am not that big on Sci-Fi/ space Operas (I'm more of a political thriller kind of guy... dah!) so Ms. McKenna will be probably compared to my all time favourite Dune - yikes!

Am I allowed to exceed my limit of requests? I might be interested in trying this one too!

It is a very interesting book, if you like good Sci-Fi. I felt the need to be generous, as it was a hard thing to write, but if it wasn't her debut, it would have gotten 3.5 or so.
