Tracey (arcanegumption) | 134 comments Happy November Iggles,

This month's Challenge is to read a science book. From fringe science to quantum physics there is something out there for everyone.
Warning: possible side effect may include your mind being blown.

Take a look at these great authors:
Mary Roach
Neil deGrasse Tyson
Carl Sagan

and as always read something that makes you happy. #IgglesReadHappy

Peace, Love, and Microscopes.

Tracey (arcanegumption) | 134 comments I just finished reading Spook: Science Tackles the Afterlife and researching noetic science* and I just starting Trespassing on Einstein's Lawn: A Father, a Daughter, the Meaning of Nothing, and the Beginning of Everything and learning about quantum physics.
The weighing of souls to the observer effect of the double slit experiment. The world is a strange and fantastic place my friends.

*for a Novel on noetics check out The Lost Symbol

Mel (mel-s) I will finally, then, finish The Demon-Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark. Rather, I will probably have to start over. But that will be my next book. XOXOX, Carl Sagan. Nothing against you, dear man. I got distracted.

ETA
PS: laughing, b/c I didn't even read the list of suggested authors before I posted.

Mel (mel-s) I've read a couple of Mary Roach's books and they're wonderful! Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers & Packing for Mars: The Curious Science of Life in the Void were both quite enjoyable.

Tracey (arcanegumption) | 134 comments I've read both of those too! They're great.

Mel (mel-s) I finished my book! Had some vacation days, and only do audio books on my commute, so there was a delay.
