Vanessa (thehispanicbookworm) | 338 comments I couldn't find any discussion questions for this book so I'm going to go off the top of my head. I've read a few reviews on this book-

What are everyone's thoughts and feelings on the main character, Jazz?

Mary She didn't feel authentic to me-- it felt like a male author trying (unsuccessfully) to write a female voice. While I enjoyed the story, I feel like this was one of those books that was written with the intent of being turned into a screenplay (which it is). I also felt the technical details were a little overwhelming, but that is entirely a matter of personal preference. I know some people who are really into science and STEM probably LOVED that about this book.

I was thinking about getting this book but I have read so many similar reviews and nothing kills my mood for a book faster than an annoying female protagonist.

Mary It was an okay book, but probably not worthy of winning "Best Science Fiction" mere days after it's release.
