I got to say I am excited to read more from these authors but I am no excited its Romance. That being said that I can think of I've only read one Paranormal Romance series which is the Kat and Bones so maybe all PR aren't that annoying?
I don't want Kate to end, but I'll go into this one with an open mind and see what happens. There's nothing more unfair to an author than hoping the new series will be the same as the last.

Phew! Cause I remember doing a post on they're promised future titles. (Though why I'm worried when I'm still back on book 5, who knows!)

Initially they were only doing 7 I thought, but maybe they added more. Last I looked was 2 or 3 years ago.
It's officially going to book 10. That's where they're planning it to end. Unless they have a new arc they feel is worthy of extending the series. But it looks like 10 is it.
Hmmmm, I'm not really sure if they're like that. They've already ended their Edge series. And I think if they did extend it they'd make it good. Or at least I have faith they would.
Yup but their edge series isn't as popular as their Kate Daniels series. They talk all the time about wanting to make enough to put their daughter through college so I think if the money was offered to continue it make it long like IDK Bridge or Harris or the one that writes the books that used to be good but turned into pure sex and there are like 20 of them. Oh and then there is Cassandra Clare and her Mortal Instruments never ending stories. I love a good series but when they tell me its done and then boom here's five more books I'm like hmmm nah I think I'm good where I left off lol.
That would be Laurel K. Hamilton. Yeah, if the money is there go for it. Everyone has got to make a living. Like I said, I've got fiath they'll at least try and make them high quality.
Doesn't matter how good the writing is, after a while they get tedious because eventually some of the plots end up not as good as the others. 4-7 are fine. After that things get difficult for authors to sustain.
I'd have to disagree. Take book series like The Assassins Apprentice thats a large series but every 3 books are from a different characters "pov" and have a different plot. It could work I think that its a difficult thing to pull off though.
Sherrilyn Kenyon had a few really good ones, then they got tedious. Then you have moments like Acheron that make the tedium worth the wait.
Kelley Armstrong pulled it off by switching back and forth, but I was a little blah about it for the last 2 books.

I haven't checked out any of those books mainly because I waited to long for the wagon lol. By the time I read the first 1000 books in the series the second batch of 1000 will be out.
I like most of them, but you lose the special over time. They're fun reads, but over time some of the drama gets commonplace and loses the oomph that makes you laugh or cry. Still fun to read, they just don't make you debate between 4 and 5 stars.... They leave you between 3 and 4. That's still great, but after a 5 star, 3.5 feels like a let down even though 3.5 means you enjoyed your read.
I think it depends on the author, sometimes they can pull it off and it's worth it. Others, your right they run out of steam.
I ran out of steam at about book 3-4 of Kate and Bones they are so annoying but I own a few more so I shall read them as some point.

Is it finally over? Yes now I can read them and be done with it all lol.
Chakara wrote: "Is it finally over? Yes now I can read them and be done with it all lol."The last one came out in January.

Great news.
I read it last week when it came out. Thought it was good, liked the world and look forward to seeing where they go with it.
Just fnished it! While there are definitely starting to be some basic Andrews plots that always make their books, I enjoyed it. Though Rogan is probably their scariest alpha lead yet.
I had a lot of fun with this one. I didn't like it after the first chapter or two, but I quickly changed my mind as I kept with it.

the second book."That cover is painfully bad.
Is it me but have pretty much all the "big" book releases all switched to the fall? It's starting to get annoying.

I hate to say it, but I thought this one got pushed back even further. I tried to find the post from Andrew's blog, but can't find it.
Hmmm. I thought October was around when the first one got released. I know their Innkeeper book got pushed waaaay back and it really doesn't have a release date at this point. Though I think it was supposed to be June of this year. (That was the second release date. But it's still not out.)
I found this comment from Ilona.Admin note: Forum has been fixed. It took 2 hours, so we are doing a snippet this morning in lieu of normal blog content. We are aware of Amazon posting White Hot release date as 2018. I don’t know why they did that. It is likely to come out in 2016. Unless meteorite falls on the house and prevents us from finishing. Or the forum breaks again. I guess Amazon was just like, “F… it, they’ll never get this done.”
And here is the link when they announced the delay.

Chakara wrote: "Guess their other books aren't doing as good as the Kate books."That wasn't the issue, it seems they over extended themselves with business and real life got in the way.
Bummer! I know things have been cray-cray for them as I follow there blog. Honestly I just want the official release of the next Kate book and InnKeepers. I love InnKeepers.
Sad to say I won't start Inn Keepers until the next book comes out. I'm not a wait-er. When I play the waiting game it turns into the procrastination game probably why I am still in the middle of Magic Slays. Tried to pick it back up today and realized I had no idea what was going on. It does seem that they have a really hard time balancing the family with their career even with it being the two of them or maybe because is the two of them it's even harder. In a relationship where only one is the author the other could pick up the slack while you write but in their case no such thing exists.
Aw. Me sad. :'(
I will support them when ever the books do come out because they are good.
