Zoe was sitting on her bed in her dorm room directly in front of her mirror, applying mascara to her eyelashes. She had been sleeping and studying all day, and she was convincing herself to go to a halloween party at the infamous frat house tonight. She put her hair up in a messy bun and switched her piercing from a small stud to an edgier ring. After examining herself in the mirror, she laid back down onto her bed. Zoe planned on throwing on a hot dress before heading out, but there was still some time before people would bein showing up.

message 2: by Nancy (last edited Nov 10, 2017 09:10PM) (new)

Nancy the Jinx (jinxlirin) Lynn spent the better part of thirty minutes circling from her closet to her bed in an attempt to compose an outfit. The costume was simple enough, yet she couldn't decide if going all out and Halloweeny would be appropriate, seeing as to how this was a 'college' Halloween party in a 'frat house' filled with 'people'. She gulped at the thought of rampant guests and inhumane amounts of alcohol the movies always portrayed, but she still hoped for a calm evening. Some good food, fun costumes, and maybe watching 'Cabin in the Woods' on the big screen at the end. That thought calmed her down enough to finalize her outfit and ready her green fairy makeup.
Stopping to admire her costume in the mirror -a one-strapped, knee-length, flowing white dress adorned with glued on flowers, a vibrant flower crown, and sparkling green body spray- she left her room and knocked on her roommate's door.
"Zoe? Do you wanna eat before going? We could stop somewhere."

message 3: by [deleted user] (last edited Nov 10, 2017 09:19PM) (new)

Zoe heard Lynn moving around the dorm as she created a costume, but didn't pay much attention and continued to study until her name was mentioned, in which she looked up to see a lovely green fairy that was her roommate.
"Woah, you look so good!" Zoe said, jumping off her bed of textbooks and papers to greet her. Although they've only known eachother for two months, they already knew eachother so well that she felt comfortable talking to her about nearly anything. God, did Zoe really like being around her as much as possible. Whenever they hung out, she always felt that they connected on a very personal level. "Ready to get hammered tonight?" Zoe had only drank a few times in high school, but she remembered those memories as being tons of fun; everyone enjoyed being around her, especially when alcohol was involved.

message 4: by Nancy (new)

Nancy the Jinx (jinxlirin) "Daaw~ Thank you." Lynn smiled brightly and struck a quick angelic pose before giggling and looking over Zoe as well. She wasn't truly in costume, not yet at least.. And by the look of the dress among the papers on her bed, it didn't seem like a true costume would be worn tonight. This worried Lynn a little, because how embarrassing would it be to show up as the only one in costume? Statistically speaking, there was a good theoretical chance that this would not happen, so Lynn tried very hard to let this go.
"And you changed your ring; I like it. It's fierce." She grinned at this and chuckled a little. Lynn hadn't known Zoe for very long, but from what she had gathered, her roommate was a trustworthy and good person. A good friend, even.
Lynn let out a small anxious laugh at Zoe's choice of words. "Hammered on pizza!" She said in a wavering reply and made an awkward swinging gesture with her fist and elbow. "I don't even think I like alcohol though. From what I've tasted it's so bitter! Wait, are you getting hammered tonight?"

message 5: by [deleted user] (new)

"Thanks, love," Zoe said in response to her nose ring; she always felt that it gave her more to her personality. It was always a great conversation starter, as well.
She began to waltz into her closet, searching through the numerous clothes for one of her many provocative dresses to wear. Zoe shrugged playfully at the hammered question, although she was positive that her intention tonight was to have a good time away from all of the achool she's been doing. "We'll see!" she sing-songily replied before pulling out a black body con dress. "Is this too slutty or?"

message 6: by Nancy (new)

Nancy the Jinx (jinxlirin) As Zoe danced to her closet, Lynn officially let herself fully into the room and took a seat on the cleared away sections of Zoe's bed. She glanced at all the papers, curious and ever so slightly disgusted by the large quantities of homeworks and due dates and information. Hopefully tonight would be a good time to relax for the both of the. The sing-song answer was not comforting, but Lynn simply chuckled and decided to hope for the best. Come to think of it, she hadn't previously seen Zoe drunk. This could be interesting~
Lynn looked up at the question, and her eyebrows raised in surprise. "You would look positively stunning in that~"

message 7: by [deleted user] (new)

Zoe laughed when she heard Lynn's reaction to her desire to get drunk tonight. Regardless of what would happen at the frat party, it would be a bacation from the numerous tests she had going on for her Associate's. "As long as I don't get as shitfaced as all the frat boys there, it'll be fun. And you better loosen up tonight, too!" Zoe was always one to head out to aocial events, and constantly wants Lynn to accompany her.
"I sure hope I look positively stunning!" Zoe said with a smile plastered on her face, revealing her dimples. Still in the entrance of her closet, she quickly changed out of her shorts and sweatshirt and into the sleek dress. She frolicked over to her mirror and pulled the dress down a few inches so it wouldn't ride up before sitting down on the floor in front of the mirror and quickly creating a cat nose, whiskers, and mouth on her face with a black felt tip eyeliner.

message 8: by Nancy (new)

Nancy the Jinx (jinxlirin) "I will. ..." Lynn's tone grew a little higher as she said that last word, letting it drag on for a little moment as she wondered if she truly would 'loosen up' tonight. There would be so many people.. She would honestly have preferred ordering pizza and watching a scary movie inside, but she had promised to attend. Plus, she was already all dressed up, so for better or worse she was going. "As long as they have those cute Halloween treats," she said absent mindedly, mostly to herself. "Like sausages that look octopuses and Resse's Cup spiders with pretzel legs~" She smiled at the thought. As long as they had that it was bound to be a good night. A very idealistic thought.
Lynn couldn't help but roll her eyes at Zoe's remark, only then realizing that her choice of words might not have been very accurate to the situation. She politely glanced back at the homework on the bed as Zoe changed, and glanced back at her as she sat down to put on her 'costume'. Ridiculous, but fitting.
Oh god she would be the only one in an actual costume.
"I might go change real quick," she said softly and stood up, already thinking through what alternatives she could create last minute.

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

Zoe quickly turned her head to Lynn, accidentally swiping eyeliner across her cheek. "Aw why? You look so good!" Zoe insisted. Sure, they were attending a frat boy party and they weren't sure what they had ahead of them, but Zoe saw the adorable effert that Lynn put into her outfit, and did not want her to feel unsure about it.
She cleaned up the accidental streak of eyeliner on her face and finished her makeup before returning to rampaging her closet, in hopes of finding a black headband. She needed a last minute set of cat ears if she wanted to complete the look she wanted tonight.
Zoe seemed to notice the anxiousness of Lynn, and assumed it wasn't just about her cut costume. "Hey, hey," she began to assure, walking out of her closet to talk to Lynn and puting her hands on her shoulders. "You don't have to go tonight if you don't want to. How about we leave an hour or two into the party? We can rent a stupid movie and watch it until we fall asleep."

message 10: by Nancy (new)

Nancy the Jinx (jinxlirin) Lynn covered her green colored lips to try and stiffen her laughter, but Zoe's stray whisker made her chuckle anyhow.
Well, she could hardly argue against that. She did like her outfit after all, so perhaps she would throw herself to the lions just this once.
Lynn remained standing and checked her phone for the time, finding the party would officially begin in twenty minutes, and people would officially start arriving in forty. She let out a quiet sigh and tapped her phone off before looking up a little surprised to see Zoe in front of her.
With anyone else she would have stiffened or stepped away and asserted that she wasn't as weak as they had made her out to be. But Zoe had always been able to make her feel comfortable, so instead she smiled and waved the proposition away. "Don't worry about me~ Let's take the night as it goes and see from there, yes? I might take you up on a movie, but it would not be stupid!" She grinned and poked at Zoe's stomach a couple of times before chuckling.

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

Zoe smiled in satisfaction when she managed to make Lynn chuckle. Merely knowing that her presence was somewhat appreciated made her happy. She didn't necessarily want to stay in and watch a movie, but if that made her roommate feel more at ease, she would do nothing other.
She flinched at Lynn's poking at her stomach before laughing. "Good, because tonight's going to be fun."
She went back to her closet, grabbing some fabric and cutting out little triangles to glue to her headband, her face scrunched up in concentration. Once she finished she looked in the mirror, adjusted her headband, made sure her makeup would stay in place all night, and tightened her bra straps out of habit.
"What do you think?" she asked, playfully purring and walking around the room.

message 12: by Nancy (new)

Nancy the Jinx (jinxlirin) "Mm!" Lynn agreed with a smile and nod of the head, then she sat back down as Zoe returned to the closet.
Instead of thinking about the party, she scrolled through pictures on her phone absent-mindedly before turning it off and looking up at Zoe's call.
She smiled then chuckled at her roommate's act. "You look like an adorably sexy little kitty. The ears are a nice touch, really sells the costume." She grinned and added two thumbs up to the compliment.

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

"Just what I was aiming for!" Zoe said with a grin, revealing her dimples. She turned back to herself in the mirror, pulled her dress down a little further and poking and prodding at her dress so it fit with her curvy. Afterwards, she pulled out her phone and opened up Snapchat. She stood next to Lynn, wrapped her arms around her, and quickly posed with a snarl upon her face to finish the look, barely warning Lynn about taking the picture in the first place. Once looking over it, she added a filter and put it on her story for everyone to see.
"Ready to start walking? We could maybe grab a case of beer at the store, too, if we end up arriving too early."

message 14: by Nancy (new)

Nancy the Jinx (jinxlirin) Lynn smiled as well and watched Zoe adjust her dress, wondering how long it would take for one of the frat guests to take in her curvy figure accented in black and either dislike or chase after her. It had always been very easy for Zoe to become the center of attention, but Lynn didn't mind standing in the shadows of the spotlight.
She almost turned to go and grab a few last things when she felt an arm around her. Lynn's first instinct was to smile, as she often did, but her eyes grew slightly larger in confusion, and the flash came and went before she realized what had taken place. She blinked a bit, recovering from the situation, and nodded.
"Yeah- Um.." She frowned a little at the suggestion but tried to smile weakly. Her next words were a whisper, as if trying to hide their pre-meditated act from anyone who might be listening. "But we're not twenty-one..."

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

"I mean, We don't have to if you don't feel like it," Zoe said, rubbing Lynn's shoulder assuringly like a mini hug, as her arm was still around her. Although Zoe's somewhat touchy personality could be aobnoxious sometimes, it sometimes made people feel more comfortable.
"This guy, he sits next to me in my chem class, he told me about this place barely off campus that doesn't card, though." Zoe's drank several times before, so she clearly didn't think of it to be as taboo as other people under 21 might. She sat down in her bed with a pair of black velvet heels, quickly sliding them onto her tiny feet before looking up at Lynn to await a response.

message 16: by Nancy (new)

Nancy the Jinx (jinxlirin) Lynn bite her lip in thought, thinking over this possibility and leaning into Zoe a bit, reassured by the warm comfort. If they didn't card then it could technically be okay, because then it would be the fault of the owner's establishment, not their own.
She glanced at Zoe's black heels, so much different than her green flats, and nodded. "I suppose that should be okay. But if they do card you tonight we're just going empty handed, okay?" Lynn didn't want to risk any possible trouble. Then she grinned a bit and rocked on her heels. "And, if they don't card you, maybe we can throw in a Bailey's just for us?" She looked down at Zoe expectantly.

message 17: by [deleted user] (new)

"Now youre talking!" Zoe exclaimed with a smile plastered on her face as if it would stay there forever. She walked towards her mirror one last time, her arm gently drifting off of Lynn, and adjusted her nose ring and pulled down her dress one last time. She looked good, and her mere confidence made her look so much better. After, she grabbed the keys and her phone. "Ready?" she said to Lynn, looking up at her and smiling.

((Do you want to cut to going to the party? Should they get carded or not?))

message 18: by Nancy (new)

Nancy the Jinx (jinxlirin) Lynn laughed happily at Zoe's excitement and hurried back to her room when Zoe made her last minute adjustments. She was used to drifting in and out unnoticed, and quickly took her purse -which didn't match her outfit but was nonetheless a necessity- and strapped it over her shoulder.
She hurried back to Zoe's room while making sure that everything was in proper order, and came in just in time to smile and nod at Zoe's question. "Ready!"

((I kinda don't want them to get carded just so they can have some alcohol later~ And yeah, we can cut to the party scene to make things go a little faster if you like))

message 19: by [deleted user] (new)

((okay sounds good c:))

Zoe walked up the steps without hesitation in her heels and reached the door of the frat house. It was already beginning to get darker outside, and the amount of lights in the house could quite possibly illuminate the rest if the street if it were night. The door was already ajar, and you could tell that numerous people had already showed up. Zoe looked at Lynn. "Shall we enter this haunted manor?" she said with a laugh as she held the alcohol at her side.

message 20: by Nancy (new)

Nancy the Jinx (jinxlirin) Lynn followed half a step behind Zoe, looking up at the bright lights and resounding music while trying to estimate how long it would take for a noise complaint or 'disturbing the peace' complaint to tear the party apart.
She had bleak expectations for the party, but grinned at Zoe's question. "How else to experience the ghastly luxuries to befall us?" She replied with a chuckle, then took the initiative of knocking on the door, before realizing that no one had probably heard. "Should we just..go in?"

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

Zoe looked up and down the house and back at Lynn. "I mean, we'll be standing outside forever if we keep on knocking; let's just invite ourselves in!" she joyfully replied, pushing open the door using the heavy plastic bag of alcohol at her side.
The house was blaring with music this early in the night already, so loud that you could feel the bass in your chest. Zoe turned to Lynn with a huge smile on her face as she walked into the kitchen to place the case in the cooler. She observed the amount of people in the house, and noticed she knew a lot of them from around campus, beaming to greet each person she was familiar with. She coudlnt see where the rest of the drinks were, but she could already smell the harsh stench.

message 22: by Nancy (new)

Nancy the Jinx (jinxlirin) Lynn smiled a bit and followed Zoe into the house, making sure to stay close to her and not get lost in the crowd. It was impressive the sheer amount of people that were present, and was almost too distracted by all the activity to return Zoe's smile.
She hardly knew any of these people. One or two persons she recognized from her business courses, but none with which she had actually chatted before. But she wouldn't let that ruin Zoe's night.
"You go on ahead," she basically had to shout as she leaned into Zoe's ear to be heard. "I'll search for some snacks."

message 23: by [deleted user] (new)

Zoe absentmindedly was looking for red solo cups so she had something to hold and to drink. She barely even heard Lynn's question, until she snapped out of her zoned-out state. "No, I'll come with!" Zoe eagerly shouted in response to Lynn. "We probably should have ate before coming here, the best we'll find is some chips." With a giggle, Zoe took her hand and pushed through a couple people in search for something to eat in the house.
A few times on their walk was she greeted by some of her good friends, and she smiled at each one with a bright smile. Occasionally, she would turn to Lynn and go "I hate that guy, he's so annoying," moments after smiling at someone.

message 24: by Nancy (new)

Nancy the Jinx (jinxlirin) Lynn was prepared to silently slip away when Zoe suddenly gave her reply. She wanted to argue against this at first, but her hand was already wrapped around Zoe's, so instead she chuckled and nodded. There were a lot of people to walk past and push through, but they were making steady progress across the party.
Each time they were stopped, Lynn would smile politely and wait on the side until the conversations were over, before wondering why she had to be friends with the one person who was friends with everyone. Although, some of Zoe's statements after the encounters made her giggle. "You're very nice to him at least," she pointed out with a grin each time this happened.

message 25: by [deleted user] (new)

Zoe really liked Lynn; she always felt happier when she wss with her, and she hoped that she knew that. They continued to walk theough the first floor with their hands casually intertwined, ocassionally stopping to say hello to some people, until Zoe found a packed bag of solo cups and some drinks sitting across a table in a disorganized manner. From what it looked like, there was already a ton of beer present at this party, some seasonal vodka that I'm sure no one was looking forward to drink, and some punch.
"What do you want to drink?" Zoe asked, taking two cups out of the bag and beginning tocfill one with the punch, adding a little bit of vodka, too. She was curious on the taste.

message 26: by Nancy (new)

Nancy the Jinx (jinxlirin) Even with all the stops and random conversations, Lynn had to admit that this was more entertaining than simply watching a movie on her own. Of course it would have been a good movie, but being at such an even was an interesting change of pace.
They at long last found a table with some stereotypical red cups and a few nearly empty bags of chips, which did not look very appetizing. Lynn would therefore settle for something to drink.
"I'll just have some punch please." She almost left it at that, but then noticed that Zoe was adding some vodka to her own. "...Maybe with a little bit of vodka if you don't find it absolutely disgusting." She grinned a little.

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

Zoe took the second solo. cup and filled it with punch at Lynn's request before hearing the second half to the question. She set down Lynn's cup, picked up hers, and started taking a sip. The concoction stung in her mouth, and she could tell that the punch had a kick to it, too. A sip turned into a gulp and a gulp turned into the entire cup. She slammed it back down on the table with pride and realized that a group of people were watching her and were clapping and cheering for her. Zoe smiled at them, proud of her accomplishment, before turning back to Lynn. "The taste of that vat is absolutely horrific," she said in her ear.
She wiped the taste of alcohol off her lips, being cautious so she wouldnt mess up her makeup, and proceeded to pour herself more.

message 28: by Nancy (new)

Nancy the Jinx (jinxlirin) Lynn watched her with growing surprise and curiosity as she took her first sip. She expected it to end there and have a review of the taste, but she looked at Zoe with growing worry as she kept and kept drinking- until the entire concoction was gone. She could hardly believe it, and jumped a little in surprise at the crowd of applause that followed. She had barely noticed that people were watching, but she soon clapped along with a small chuckle.
'Absolutely horrific' didn't sound like it would be in her 'good' category, so Lynn took her cup. "I think I'll stick to punch then." She smiled a little and struck Zoe's hip gently with her own. "Have fun getting hammered~"

message 29: by [deleted user] (last edited Nov 13, 2017 09:14PM) (new)

Zoe took a little bow after chugging her drink, a big smile still on her face. She laughed at the hip bump and walked among Lynn's side as they sauntered about the party, away from the drinks table. "Puh-lease," she replied. "I have a couple more drinks to go before I'm even on the road to being smashed." She clinked plastic cups with her roommate as a brief 'cheers' and took another gulp of her drink.
They eventually made their way into what seemed to be the main room.
She noticed around forty people in this packed room. Some were in the middle of a makeoit session, some were playing party games, and some appeared to be smoking something and intently talking to eachother despite how hectic the rest of the room was. She took a sip of her drink and turned to Lynn with a questioning look on her face, as if to ask, "where should we hang out?" She was sure Lynn wouldnt want to sit with the potheads, not like Zoe wanted to, either, and the makeout session was exclusively for couples, so she already seemed to know.

message 30: by Nancy (new)

Nancy the Jinx (jinxlirin) Lynn giggled at her roommate's theatrics. She had always envied Zoe for her ability to so freely do as she pleased, it seemed almost liberating to simply be walking besides her sometimes. And to think they were now companions, quite improbable, and yet splendidly real.
She chuckled at her comment and tapped their red cups together before taking her first drink of the punch. It was...not just punch as she had thought. But it wasn't entirely bad either, and she took another sip as they walked.
If Lynn had been alone, she would have frozen at the front of the door and slowly backed out. There were so many people in such a small room, and they were all animatedly busy doing something or other. She made sure to step a bit closer to Zoe for safety. "I, truly have no idea." Lynn was puzzled as to why the choice was even left up to her. She wondered briefly what the smoking group were talking about, if it was politics or a recent college course.. But she doubted joining the conversation would come easily to her. "Maybe party games? Perhaps they have Uno~" Lynn smiled at the thought.

message 31: by [deleted user] (last edited Nov 11, 2017 09:08PM) (new)

She made a sour face with each sip of the drink she had in ger hands, and yet she continued to drink it until was nearly finished again. She already felt a light buzz in her head, which only made her motivated to drink more.
Zoe laughed at Lynn's remark about Uno. She doubted that at a frat party they would supply a game like Uno. That's what she loved about her: her innocence, except she still managed to know so much about the world. She really cared about her atmosphere. But with that, she took her hand in excitement to sit down in a circle of a game. "So, what are we playing?" She said asshe found an unopened bottle of beer on the floor and opened it on the side of a table.

message 32: by Nancy (new)

Nancy the Jinx (jinxlirin) Lynn almost wanted to say something, tell Zoe that she didn't have to finish it all if she didn't want to, but Zoe was determined. And when she became determined like this, there was no changing her mind.
She smiled and happily took her hand as well before sitting down besides her. She leaned against Zoe slightly, feeling just a little woozy with half of her drink gone but not willing to admit it. "Is it Uno?" She asked hopefully, trying to see where the colorful cards might be hidden.

message 33: by [deleted user] (new)

Zoe took a generous swig of the beer until it seemed nearly halfway finished, and set it down on the table she had originally opened it with before turning back to the group of people circled up. She pulled down her dress and seated herself with her legs crossed, scooting herself more into the circle so the two of them appeared more included.
"Spin the bottle!" someone chimed in to respond to their question, and Zoe replied with a groan. "I'm not drunk enough for this," she joked (only partially-kidding) before turning to Lynn. "You up for it? We have to immerse ourselves into this trashy party somehow."

message 34: by Nancy (new)

Nancy the Jinx (jinxlirin) Lynn sipped her drink slowly but surely, and wished she had taken a little more when she realized that the cup was now three fourths of the way done. Zoe didn't seem to have any problems finding drinks, although Lynn was temporarily worried that she might be overdoing it. But surely not. And if she was, then it was simply an excuse to go home early.
Lynn was forced to scoot in too when Zoe did, and she let out a small whimper when the name of the game was announced. Decidedly not Uno. She had to agree that she wasn't quite drunk for it either, although one more cup would surely do the trick. Lynn leaned against Zoe a bit more at her question. "The sexy games are more your thing, aren't they? I'll just sit." She smiled, then whispered into her ear. "There are so many people, the probability of me being picked is very very low~ Should we bet?" She grinned.

message 35: by [deleted user] (new)

Zoe, eager to feel a little bit tipsy in order to have more fun, finished another drink and set it back on the table.
She did puppy dog eyes at Lynn when she heard the beginning of her reply, inferring that she was going to back out of the game- it would be a shame if Lynn already wanted to back out of this and watch a movie back at their dorm! It wasn't as if she didn't want to do that, but she at least wanted Lynn to head out and have a good time with her for the night. She leaned in closer to her mouth to hear the second part, and she loudly laughed. "Out of the two of us, whoever gets picked first has to take a shot of that nasty candy corn shit!" Zoe dared, referring to the vodka she tried before. They were sitting in a group of 15-20 people, so what was the harm of throwing in a stupid bed?

message 36: by Nancy (new)

Nancy the Jinx (jinxlirin) Lynn giggled at the proposition and nodded eagerly. "Alright! And~" She bit her lip and looked around the group, trying to find something to make the bet even more interesting. "And, if it happens within the first five people you have to take a whole cup!" She laughed in delight at this and leaned into Zoe more. That was statistically impossible, so she felt rather safe for the both of them at adding that incentive. "You've already taken two cups, one more shouldn't be any trouble, right?" She grinned teasingly and poked Zoe's side, daring her to back out while fully knowing that she wouldn't.

message 37: by [deleted user] (new)

Zoe's eyes widened with excitement on Lynn's addition to the preposition before giggling and nodding. They probably looked ridiculous compared to the rest of the group, but by the end of the night, would anyone even remember them?
When Lynn commented on the amount of drinks she's had, Zoe stole her cup and gulped it until it was finished. She set it on the ground and replied with "Game on."
Someone in the circle whom she didn't know scooted into the center of the circle for his turn. He turned the empty beer bottle on its side and gave it a spin.

((should it spin on zoe or lynn at one point and if so, who?))

message 38: by Nancy (new)

Nancy the Jinx (jinxlirin) It was ridiculous how easily comfortable Lynn felt around Zoe, and her nearly empty cup hadn't helped this at all. She was leaning and giggling against Zoe without a true care, resting her cheek against her roommate's shoulder to catch her breath. It was odd, because Lynn had never considered herself to be touch-starved and yet she loved being close to Zoe. As her giggle died down, she started to lift her cup to finish the drink, but Zoe took it from her before she could do so, and this made her laugh even more. "You're on!"
Lynn smiled happily and watched as the bottle spun and spun, getting a little dizzy with each spin.

((Lynn can barely contain her alcohol, so he additional cup would be her version of hammered, and it would be funny to see her calculations bite her in the butt to make her the loser, but it would also be a lot of fun for her to tease Zoe about losing. We could flip a coin for it, haha~ But one of them should definitely get it within the first five spins. And if Zoe's the jealous type, then it has to be Lynn to some random guy or girl. Otherwise Zoe can get chosen~))

message 39: by [deleted user] (new)

Zoe couldnt help but continue to laugh at Lynn. They hadn't even been there for too long, and yet she was already almost smashed. She rested her head on top of Lynn's, which was on her shoulder. She followed the bottle's point as it spun in a circle until it landed on a girl in her Calculus class. The two nervously chuckled before pecking eachother on the lips while everyone cheered them on. Zoe barely paid attention to the game, for she had become so focused on the fact that her roommate had her head resting on her, and she didn't want to move in any drastic way that would disrupt her comfort. She leaned over slightly to the side to grab another beer from a cooler and opening it on the same table as before. She took a few sips until it was halfway gone before gesturing the bottle to Lynn, nonverbally asking if she wanted any. She took a hand to her face to wipe the drink off her face, accidentally smudging her cat makeup.

((Alright cool. If there comes a moment when youd want one or the other to be landed on, jump right on the opportunity in your post because I dont mind who goes (: ))

message 40: by Nancy (new)

Nancy the Jinx (jinxlirin) Lynn for a moment felt that their laughter had changed course into laughing at her own situation and state of slight wooziness, and pushed Zoe's cheek up playfully in retaliation, still laughing, before wiping at a stray tear that had rolled down her cheek. Unbeknownst to her, she had taken some of Zoe's cat makeup on her hand and smeared it across her on cheek by accident.
She chuckled and clapped a bit when the two chosen ones kissed, an embarrassing quick peck, and then she held up her hand with five fingers so Zoe could see. Lynn then bent her thumb so that only four fingers showed, and grinned.
Somewhat aware of it, Lynn took the bottle Zoe offered her and sat up a bit more to take a drink. It wasn't until she had swallowed two gulps that her face scrunched up with distaste and she handed the drink back to Zoe. "It's so bitter!" She stuck out her tongue in disgust.

((Alright~ To make my decision, is Zoe the jealous type?? If Lynn were to kiss some guy or girl passionately would their be that dramatic pang of longing in her heart?))

message 41: by [deleted user] (new)

((Haha probably?? I feel like she would get a drunk kind of pissed if that makes sense and Lynn would wonder what's wrong but she would just keep on getting mad))

Zoe poked Lynn's cheek and smiled at her. "Youre so pretty," she slurred, brushing some of her hair out of her face. She observed that there was blacj makeup on both of their hands, and quickly pieced together that it was her cat makeup. "Who gives a shit," she exclaimed, before wiping both of her hands across her face, thus smudging most of her makeup

Another guy, one whom Zoe knew was a part of the fraternity, sat in the center of the circle and spun the bottle carelessly. The bottle spun in it's spot before slowly beginning to settle on someone in the circle.

Nancy the Jinx (jinxlirin) ((Lovely. Let's have that happen then shall we~? Cuz if Zoe gets picked Lynn would simply laugh and cheer her on))

Lynn giggled when Zoe said this, realizing that her friend was beginning to be drunk, but deciding that she was a bit as well. "Aaaw, you're so sweet~" She side-hugged Zoe happily as an excuse to lean against her again. "You're so pretty too!" She was about to add a teasing 'Miss tits' and poke the side of her boob, but Zoe suddenly smudged her entire makeup. Lynn's eyes were wide with shock and she gasped before covering her mouth and laughing. "What did you do??" She asked rhetorically and leaned against her again.

She had stopped paying attention to the bottle, but her giggling fit was halted when someone pushed her shoulder. She looked at the girl to her right, before seeing that the bottle was slowly coming to a stop. The girl seemed to have touched her simply because she was excited by the prospect of kissing the guy in the middle, and it became apparent that the bottle would soon either stop on the girl, or on her. Lynn's eyes went wide and she scooted towards Zoe a little more. This was only the second spin! How could this be statistically happening? Although there was still the chance that the bottle would carry its weight just a little bit farther and land on Zoe... She could hope.

Zoe returned her hug, feeling merely at ease with the situation she was in. Lynn was perched on her shoulder and having the time of her life, and that brought butterflies to her stomach and throat. She finished her beer and set it next to her previous one. God, she could already begin to tell that her vision was slower than she expected it to be.

She began to notice that the bottle was inching closer and closer to the two of them, and began to tease Lynn about how it was about to land on her. "Issit possible that THE Lynn- I've forgotten your last name," she began to erupt in a fit of giggles until the bottle pointed directly at her roommate. She stopped laughing and quickly turned to Lynn, excitedly awaiting her reaction and whether or not if she would turn down the kiss.

Nancy the Jinx (jinxlirin) Lynn giggled and easily fell into the embrace with drowsy comfort. She could have easily fell asleep had she wanted to, but for tonight at the very least, she wanted to see how the party ended. Perhaps she would go to sleep in the middle of the movie once they were home, but not yet. For Zoe, not quite yet.

"It's Lark!" She wanted to be mad, but giggled instead. Then when she realized that she wasn't sure of Zoe's last name either, that made her laugh even more. "It isn't funny! I might truly need to-"
And, the bottle stopped. She wanted to groan loudly, but the girl next to her was already doing that. She looked back at Zoe, unsure of what to do, but made up her mind when she saw her roommate's look. "Don't look at me like that," she said with a small giggle and pushed Zoe's cheek away gently.
She didn't wan to do this, but the rules were the rules, and she had lost. Darn, she'd have to drink a whole thing of vodka... She kept her groan quiet as the guy in the middle turned to face her with a grin. At least he was handsome.
Lynn crawled on all fours the little way into the middle of the circle to face him, then leaned into him slowly, even closing her eyes to stop any possible awkwardness. He seemed to smack into her lips and kiss her deeply, which caught Lynn by surprise and was annoying at first, but the cheers were rather intoxicating. Had she been sober she would have pulled back, but instead, she leaned into the kiss and retaliated just as passionately, even letting the tip of her tongue graze against his a little. Then she pulled away, bit her lip and grinned a little, then returned to her spot by Zoe, punching her in the arm gently. "I can't believe I lost!" She said with a slight giggle.

((For scenes like this do you want me to take it slow and let you reply in between? We could redo it if you want))

((no I really like it!))

Zoe grinned at Lynn when they looked at eachother and poked her face, but once she crawled into the middle of the circle, that smile faded quickly. She watched Lynn and the one frat boy meet eachother in the middle of the circle and passionately kiss in front of a ton of people, and Zoe couldn't seem to move her gaze away from the two of them. The fact that Lynn was hugging her and leaning on her shoulder minutes ago, and now she's kissing one of the biggest fuckboys on campus.
Zoe stood up, stumbling on her heels a little before briskly walking through the living room, storming right through the circle of potheads. She wasn't sure whether or not she wanted Lynn to follow her because she was infuriated- most of her feelings were irrelevant anyway at this state of drunkeness, though. She grabbed the bottle of vodka Lynn was supposed to drink and began to walk upstairs to who-knows-where.
Halfway up the stairs, she missed a step and fell, causing heads to turn. Becoming even more frustrated, she took off her heels before finishing the flight of stairs. With this attitude, she was sure people thought that she had a grudge towards the fratboy, or even liked him. Nevertheless, she was angry. She made her way to a bathroom and looked at herself in the mirror before taking a swig of the bitter vodka. God, she looked like hell.

Nancy the Jinx (jinxlirin) ((Okay~ ^^))

Lynn giggled as she sat down, but when she jabbed playfully and spoke to the person next to her, they grunted and pushed her away. Much to her surprise, it was a random person, not Zoe.
"Zoe?" She called, confused and a little worried. Lynn had thought that Zoe would relish in the fact that she had won the bet. She had expected an entire episode of teasing throughout the entire night before getting Lynn drunk on the bad vodka, but Zoe wasn't here.
After looking around the circle and not seeing her there, she stood up and looked around again. Her beer was still there... "Zoe?" She called again before going to the vodka table, thinking her drink would already be ready with a wicked grin, but she wasn't there.
Lynn bite her lip in panicked worry and hopped from one foot to the other in place, worried for a moment. Where had Zoe gone?? It was likely that she had seen another friend and split, but wouldn't she have at the very least told Lynn? Or teased her a little first before congratulating her on doing such a good and bold thing?? Never in her life had Lynn thought of doing such an impulsive act..
Feeling like a lost puppy, she filled up another cup so not to wring her hands nervously, and asked the occasional random stranger who Zoe had said 'hi' or smiled to, "Hey..Have you seen Zoe?"

Zoe looked at her bloodshot eyes in the mirror as she wiped the vodka off her lips with the back of her hand, smudging her makeup even more. It was hard to tell at this point what emotions were justified on her alcohol intake. She pulled her dress down before sitting on top of the sink and began to cry for no good reason. At one point, a couple made their way into the bathroom until they realized she was sitting in there.
Zoe constantly continued to assure herself that she brought this upon her, but she couldn't have predicted her actions from when she was two drinks in. She was weeping like a baby on the bathroom sink in front of the mirror with a bottle of vodka...isn't that pathetic of her?
She took another filling sip from the bottle before her eyes fell upon someone wandering around in the hallway. "Hey," she called for him, awaiting for him to walk in. "Have you seen Lynn? Do you know her?" Seconds later, she decided that she didn't want to go looking for her roommate. "Ugh, you know what, never mind." She shooed the guy out of the bathroom. If Lynn wanted to talk to her, she would have to come to her.

Nancy the Jinx (jinxlirin) Lynn considered stopping her search efforts for a moment. If Zoe truly had wanted to be alone, or maybe she had found a random guy she'd had interests in, then it would simply have been rude of Lynn to interrupt her or halt her plans.
But hadn't it also been rather rude of Zoe to leave her like that?
It wasn't until she had asked a sixth person that they pointed up the stairs to the bathroom. Lynn thanked him profusely before hurrying up.
If anything, she needed to find Zoe to say she was going home. Yes, that would do well. That way if Zoe was preoccupied, Lynn could leave without feeling like too much of an intruder. A perfect plan~
"Zoe?" She asked as she reached the top of the stairs, then immediately took a left turn instead of the right turn that led to the bathroom. There were a lot of doors, most leading to bedrooms occupied by random couples, and it was an embarrassing mess opening the door slightly, peaking in and asking "Zoe?" very softly before realizing that she wasn't present and closing the door again.
She sighed deeply when she reached the end of the hallway, and hurried back to search the other side of the second floor.

Zoe felt like she was on a game show: someone would enter the bathroom, she would have a brief conversation with them about life, and then shooed them away until another person or two arrived. They all probably thought she was a drunk mess, which was only partly true. If anyone were to see her, they would title her as just that. Tear streaked makeup and vodka can definitely create that look.
After a couple minutes of contemplating in the mirror with her vodka bottle in one hand, she heard Lynn's fragile voice going, "Zoe? Zoe?" in different rooms on the second floor. Ugh, she was probably interrupting drunk makeout sessions on accident in each room of the house. She unintentionally loudly groaned. She was anticipating having to communicate with her, and she couldn't pinpoint why.

Nancy the Jinx (jinxlirin) Lynn hurried down the hall still calling Zoe's name, her worry growing with each door she passed, and she very nearly missed the bathroom since it was wide opened and seemed to be occupied by a sad mess.
But after a quick double take, she realized that the sad mess was her roommate, and she was both relieved and even more worried.
"Ohmygod, Zoe! Are you okay? What happened? Are you alright??" She held onto Zoe's hand and the wrist of the hand that was holding the vodka, and squeezed them gently out of worry before trying to wipe some of the smeared makeup away, but that was a futile effort.
If this is what Zoe was like smashed, Lynn highly regretted having wanted to see it. "Maybe- maybe we should go home, eh? Come on.." She held her hand more gently and tried pull her out of the bathroom.
