Geoff (geoffgreer) Please keep all discussion to the events and speculation to the First Interludes.

No spoiler tags required. Though it would be highly appreciated if you Uncheck Add to my Update Feed to avoid accidentally spoiling things for your good read friends.

Please do not discuss events from later sections/books. Referring back to events from a previous section/book is fine.

Geoff (geoffgreer) -Puuli believes heroes with ‘light in their pockets’ will come from the sea . As far we know there’s nothing out there in the sea.

-Ellista has translated some important passages of the ancient Dawnchant language but would prefer to spend her time quietly reading a romance epic and its bigger sequel. A little on the nose from Brandon.

-Venli finds Eshonai’s body in the chasms and gets ordered around by her annoyed spren. I have a feeling Eshonai isn’t actually dead, particularly after Venli notices an odd spren around her body.

I'm not sure of the significance of any of these interludes, especially the first. Sanderson's attempt at writing romance and jokes about bigger sequels were amusing, but as you mentioned the translations are probably the most significant.

I don't remember what happened to Eshonai. Did she fight Kalladin or Dalinar in the first book?

I didn't even remember at first that she was our POV in the prologue. Her sister's interlude certainly seems the most important of the 3. Interesting thought about her not being dead.

Geoff (geoffgreer) Eshonai fought Kaladin & Dalinar in the first book. And Adolin in the second book, that's how she ended up in the chasm.

Ah ok. Thanks. I probably should have read some kind of refresher.
