James of the Redwoods I recently read a memoir of the translator, Lucia Graves.

I strongly recommend this book for those of you who read the English versions of Cemetery of Lost Books.

As a translator, she has an enormous influence on the impressions communicated in the stories.

It turns out that she is an accomplished writer and is a daughter of the poet Robert Graves.

Thanks. Sounds interesting. I've added it to my list.
