Troubleshooters is my absolute favorite by far. The writing is exceptional, the plots intricate and the character development excellent. Black Ops, Inc. is a close second, especially the later books in the series. I liked Bullet Catchers, didn’t love it, most notably because I came to disrespect Lucy.
Troubleshooters and Black Ops, Inc. compare very well. They’re similar in story structure and level of suspense. Bullet Catchers was very different with more emphasis on romance, IMO.

Black Ops, Inc. was a good series. I liked that many of the team members showed up in each book, not just their own book and then disappear. The stories were consistently good and the romance was interesting.
Bullet Catchers was my least favorite of the three. It seemed like there wasn't much interaction between the team members except for meetings at Lucy's office. Lucy was what tied the group together, and I didn't like her. (I don't think many readers did.) The stories did get better and better as the series went on. Too bad the author didn't get rid of Lucy or improve her in some way.
Lucy started off as a pretty good character, strong and decisive with great instincts. St. Claire developed her weirdly as the series progressed, portraying her as someone with terrible instincts and no loyalty to her team members when things hit the ditch.
Screwing up Lucy broke the foundation for the whole series.
Agree with you totally about Troubleshooters and Black Ops.
