Moderator Training discussion

So, how many is the max. number of mods that a group should have? What about the minimum?

If it's a small group, then I'm thinking 2- It's always good to have someone to help you out.

Yeah, and if its a big group well..I think Max should be 5...

Umm..I have a pretty big group, and I have 4 mods. It seems enough to me. i DID have 5, but one them them didn't do much..Shan't tell you who, it doesn't matter. Anyway, my group is doing fine with 4..

I don't know. Man the idea for this group seemed cool and easy at first, but I don't know what to do. I mean how do you you "train" to be a moderator anyway?

i think since we are all mods for lots of groups we already have been trained!get people who have never been mods!

How do we find them?

I think the five mods for a large group is good.

And for a tiny group, one is even enough, unless you're never on.

My group is small right now and so the only mod other than me is my best freind Lexi. I think it is good to have people you know in person.

In one group, Odds and Ends I think, there's a mod for every 10 people who join.

I'm a moderator of a medium-ish group, and i think we have about 12 mods, which i think is crazy, but the other mods run it more than i do
