This is a place to rp.

Lillie | 6 comments //Red prism crouched down as she eyed the deer that she was hunting. She pulled back the string on her bow, fire glistening on the edge of the arrow. She let go, and struck the deer in the heart as it burst into flames. "There," she thought. "Cooked deer meat." She got up and picked up the deer by its antlers, but was unaware of the rustling in the bushes nearby.//

Flora lounged high in the branches of a tree. What she made seem easy was actually a rather careful balancing act. The branch was small yet it seemed to hold her weight quite well. She had a basket of fruit from which she was plucking grapes and tossing them into her mouth. Her hair was hanging loose, lightly carried in the breeze as she laid in the shade of the upper branches.

Sabrina walks around at the bottom of the trees. She looks around and breaths in the fresh air. "Finally. Away from everyone." she said happily.

Flora, upon hearing a voice looked down to the ground where there was a girl walking around. She didn't look into it too much but based on what she heard she didn't realise Flora was there. Flora took an apple out of the basket before taking a quick bite. She tossed the apple down, but before it hit the ground she zapped it with an extremely weak bolt of lightning. It wasn't strong, but it was certainly good enough to loudly explode the apple behind Sabrina.

Sabrina screamed and her canten bursted. She held her hands up with water trying to block herself.

Flora laughed softly, entertained by the girl's immediate reaction. She was used to being around ice-cold military officers who wouldn't flinch if you stabbed them in the ankle. It didn't take long for Flora to recompose herself, but she smiled at the girl who hadn't yet pegged her location. "Watch what you say, it makes it pretty easy for people to know that you aren't expecting a surprise." Flora informed her teasingly. It was intended to be friendly, of course, a word of advice despite the nature of her actions. She did, however, note that the girl was a water bender.

Sabrina looked around trying to see this person. She finally spotted her and she started running away. "Leave me alone. I never asked to be attacked. " she said as she made the water surround her.

Flora sighed as though she were dealing with a pesky child. By definition of the word, she had not attacked the girl which confused Flora since Sabrina said that she had been attacked. Flora rose from her resting place, staying cautious as not to lose her balance. She picked up the fruit basket, believing that leaving behind a basket of fresh fruit would be a travesty beyond possible redemption. With a petty flip of her hair, she hopped out of the tree landing softly on the ground. Instead of running after her Flora entered a lunge-like position. With that action, her heels began to expel plumes of blue fire. Fire jets were commonplace amongst talented fire benders, used for their great speed. With relative ease, Flora began to catch up with Sabrina. "I hardly think that an exploding apple within a safe distance is at all an attack..." Flora began dismissively. "But I do wonder, who were you trying to escape? The authorities? A criminal? Or was it something else?" She questioned inquisitively.

"Why should I talk to you?" Sabrina said as she glared at Flora.

Flora simply kept pace until she caught up with Sabrina. "Well, why not?" She asked blandly, countering with the most obvious point possible. It wasn't exactly like Sabrina would be able to outrun her seeing as Flora hadn't even moved her legs yet while Sabrina was running.

Sabrina stops. "Leave me alone. I never did anything to you." She said as she pulled up her sleeve to reveal a knife. "Shoo. I don't want to have to use it."

Flora raised an eyebrow, the very act of using a knife seemed unusual. It was an intimidation technique and having grown up around a crimelord she was more than familiar with threats. Not only could she recognise them, but she knew how to make them as well. Regardless, such a things were not necessary at the time. "Put away your little lightning rod would you?" Flora recommended as she came to a stop, the flames at her feet fizzling out as all the dust settled. She gave a flick of her wrist, producing a burst of sparks at her fingertips to emphasize her point that using metal wouldn't help when Flora could just fire lightning at it. "I mean, unless you'd prefer to compare the lethality of a blade to that of lightning." She added on, pointing out that it very simply wouldn't be a good idea.

Sabrina put away her blade. "Leave me alone already. You shouldn't be around me. I'm a wanted thief. " Sabrina said as she started moving away.

Flora shook her head, "So you are running from the authorities..." She mused, pointing out that she had guessed it earlier. Minuscule blue sparks floated away from Flora and once they gained distance they orbited the two. "You know, you are speaking to the same person who single-handedly killed Takeshi the Laser, a crime lord who had been stealing more than you can imagine, but far worse he had killed countless people." She stated bluntly, her voice rather void of emotion. The small sparks roared into bright blue flames that illuminated the forest with pale blue light, drowning out the white light of the sun. She kept them a fair distance from Sabrina, but they still produced intense heat. "Tell me, why should I not do the same to you?" She asked, her stare uncaring. Flora held a vehement dislike of criminals, they drove themselves into dead ends, most of them deserved what came to them or so Flora thought. If the girl had a valid reason she'd be lenient, however, Flora was far less likely to let her go for no reason.

Sabrina looked at Flora. "I never did anything that bad. I am just running for my life because I wanted to eat. I have to live too." Sabrina said as she sat down and leaned against a tree. "If I'm going to die now, can I at least do something first?"

Flora sighed, a dull response in truth. She had hoped for something terrible, that way she'd have an interesting story to tell, however, there was nothing to gain from immolating a starving girl. "If you are so very hungry take the fruit," Flora offered blandly, her attitude immediately cooled by the anti-climatic answer she was given. She walked over placing the basket which she had brought with her next to Sabrina. She had run with it not dropping one thing the entire time. It was filled with oranges, apples, pears, grapes, bananas and various others, all fresh from the market. As much as Flora enjoyed them she had eaten more than enough and if she ate much more she'd be overeating which was bad for a person's health.

Sabrina looked at the food hungry but looked away. "I'd rather not. I best be on my way.... " Sabrina said as she started running away. "Oh man... I almost lost it. She can't know my history." she thought out loud.

Flora just groaned in annoyance, placing her head in her hand. Her eyes closed momentarily before she restored her composure and then produced a pinwheel of pale blue flames using a circular motion with her hands. It was a complex method to pull off, it didn't require a lot of power, but the control it required was extensive. She threw the pinwheel on a curve causing it to expand into a large flame in front of Sabrina. "Could you for one moment stay still?" She requested loudly. "Believe me, no one is going to hurt you with me present, staying here is likely your safest choice, you'll have me to stop anyone from hurting you and believe me..." She explained, stoking the flame for emphasis "I am more than capable of stopping aggressors. That or you can leave, not knowing if I've chosen to chase you down after showing the authorities where you went." Flora finished nonchalantly.

Sabrina paled and she stood still. "I'm not worried about getting hurt. I can always heal myself again. But, you can't tell them. You just can't. " Sabrina said.

"I assure you, I can, I used to be a member of the police force, it would only be what is morally correct after all," Flora remarked, her lavender eyes locking on Sabrina. The flames slowly extinguished once again. As far as Flora could understand, running away again would just be foolish, both times Flora caught her with little effort. If anything she'd have stood a better chance if she faced Flora head on, running away from someone who can use fire jets and can shoot lightning never works out well. "The fact you are standing is a testament to my mercy, so if you will, please do accept the fruit," Flora ordered this time instead of offering.

Sabrina groaned. "How do I know you didn't poison the fruit? How do I know it is safe to eat? Why should I trust you?" Sabrina said as she sat down again and leaned on a tree.

((So sorry, I was overcome by exams and projects, I do hope you are still up to continuing this!))

Flora gazed at her coldly. “If I wanted you dead do you not think I’d have burnt you to a crisp?” She asked honestly. Flora wasn’t one to waste good fruit by poisoning it, simply torching a victim was more than effective. “Besides...” she began, bending down to pick up a fruit. She took a banana, peeled it and bit it. “If it was poison I wouldn’t eat it.” She finished blandly once she was done chewing. Her violet eyes rested on Sabrina waiting for her to eat the food. Flora wasn’t a villain, as long as she didn’t stand to lose anything she didn’t mind helping her out.

"But, I could have easily drowned you with my water if you tried. " Sabrina said warily as she looked at the fruit. It looked so good that her mouth was beginning to water.

(Alright!)

Flora's gaze simply rested on Sabrina, "The second you tried to do that I would have fired off another lightning bolt and disrupted the flow of water." She stated bluntly not at all flinching in face of the threat. "Either way, we both could have hurt one another, now take the fruit before I decide to burn it to a crisp in front of you." She demanded calmly.

Sabrina quickly snactched a fruit and stood a distance away still wary of the girl. She had seen how she had just brushed off the threat and she didn't like it at all.
