I read this one. Took me a lot longer to get into it then I expected. Plot was an intriguing mix of fiction and researched facts. authors note at end worth reading. I gave it a 3 because I felt it should have gripped me and hooked me more quickly then it did.
I listened to this one on my iPhone via Hoopla and finished it last week. I thought that the juxstaposition of the historical Salem witch trials with a 2012 Massachusetts girls school made for a terrific tale.There is a great review of the book here: http://nerdybookclub.wordpress.com/20...
The audio version did not have the author's note - so I think I need to get my hands on that.
Having previously read The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane , I didn't expect this to be a young adult novel. I'm a big fan of YA - but I don't think a reader has to particularly like YA to enjoy this one.
