Hell & High Water discussion

1. I'm reading a lot of veiled comments about the ending of this book and it's really making me hesitant to read it, even though it ticks a lot of my book reading boxes. Would anyone care to elaborate? Is it HEA? Cliffhanger? HFN? They go their separate ways? What? PM me or hide it behind a spoiler tag, please. Normally, I don't like spoilers but anything other than HEAs tend to piss me off. Yeah, I'm just that sappy. Reality is depressing enough. I don't need it in my fiction.

2. The reviews are also being cagey about the heat level in this book. I can go back to reading MMP romances if I want hand-holding, or YA if I want a lot of angst and UST. How much time do these guys spend worrying about their feelings vs finding an empty supply closet?
