Goodreads Secret Santa discussion

Hey guys! This thread is entirely for everyone to say when they got the package and what they got so that their Secret Santa can reveal themselves!

A book was just dropped off but there was no note so I am not sure if it is from my secret santa or not. It's The Keeper of Lost Things by Ruth Hogan :)

Thank you so much. I wish I would have waited till closer to Christmas but it slipped my mind that it could be a Goodreads Secret Santa...and in all honestly I have no willpower so I would have opened it anyways. I can't wait to start reading it. I can't wait till more people start sharing their presents!

I’m kind of in the same situation. I won’t be getting home from college until the 15th, so I’ll probably wait to open mine until Christmas. That is if I can wait that long!

The reason I do Secret Santa so early every year, and have such short shipping deadlines, is because I know that 3 weeks is plenty of time for the books to ship and be delivered. I think in total only 3-4 books have been late and those are usually to countries in South America, or got lot in the mail and a replacement had to be sent.
Im fairly certain you guys will get your books before Christmas :)

I got an email this morning saying my secret santa's book has been posted! Hope you get it really soon :)

I got Quackery: A Brief History of the Worst Ways to Cure Everything in the mail today!!!!! Thank you so much Irene I love the book and the card. Timing was also awesome because tomorrow is my birthday and it was like getting an early birthday present :D

Somehow I lucked out to fall into both late-book categories last year, hahah. Great stuff.

But I'm writing here to let you guys know that Book Depository says my book was dispatched on the 6th, so it should be arriving to my Secret Santa-ee (lol) soon! :)

Book Depository have a message up about deliveries being delayed into Brazil and Canada this year. No explanation though, hopefully things should arrive by Christmas.

I got a package with Pay Dirt by Rita Mae Brown in it :) I love the Mrs. Murphy series and I've been meaning to read them all, but my library just doesn't have all of them so it means so much to me to be able to get this!

The message about delays to Canada has been on and off for about 6 months. So far things either come a month late or extremely early. Hoping the book I ordered myself arrives soon (prices are now back to reasonable so I treated myself while I could).

My package from book depository arrived today, but I’m gonna try and wait to open it until Christmas.

So I just got My Absolute Darling in the mail and like I don't know where it came from?? I didn't ask for it from anyone but someone bought it for me and got it sent to my house.

Weird thing is I bought this for myself before Secret Santa so It was never even on any list, so I don't really know what happened there??? Maybe they sent me 2 by accident I really don't know...
Different order numbers though so extra weird.

The only people who have my address wouldn’t know I want this book I haven’t mentioned it to anyone and they would have told me. I’m starting to think Book Depository messed up. I emailed them to be safe.

erm, yeah - that was me. happy secret santa?? i thought it was really shitty that you weren't going to get to participate in this even though you were organizing the whole thing, so i decided i would be your SECRET secret santa. you'd mentioned that my requests were very similar to your own list, and i had your address from last time, so i took a chance and sent you a couple that i thought seemed you-ish (i figured that the terrorclown coloring book and vampire western were NOT on your list) so there should be another book coming your way, and hopefully i guessed right on that one at least. you can exchange the tallent, right? in case it really WAS the terrorclown coloring book that you wanted!
