I just read this book recently, I loved it. It's one of my favorite Jane Austen books.

@Ashley : I love the book too but I haven't read any other work by her yet.

@Airi: You should try sense and sensibility. It was one of my favorites so far. Next to pride and prejudice. I'm still working my way through her other ones slowly. But i like those two the most so far.

reading Pride an Prejudice just cant find my version - the one I have has 1003 pages and a cover I have not seen on GR.

I must admit that I have read them all, including Lady Susan. I love Pride and Prejudice, but I think my favorite is Persuasion. To see a character come full circle in knowing herself, acknowledging her missteps and the revisiting of hope is very satisfying.

it is a story of a more mature heroine than the ones in P&P or S&S
