Sounds like a good idea, gonna be a challenge finding books that meet the requirements.

Ok. I have started book 10,american psycho, from the list so should be done quite soon.

So, I've never done a challenge before because I don't like giving myself homework. But I decided to try this one, so here the books I'm trying to read

(unless you count a shoe as a person)

3) Read a book with a cover you love


4) Read a book with a cover you hate


5) Read a book with a faceless person on the cover
(I hope that counts since he is in the shadows and you can't see his face)

7) Read a book with an animal on the cover


8) Read a cover that is in your favorite color
(well I don't have one specific favorite color but this one has a lot of green and some dark red in it so I'll go with it)

9) Read a book with a bright colored cover


10) Read a book with a dark colored cover
(this is a German vampire novel, translated the title means 'Dark')

I will not read them in order I guess

I used to have last chance to see audiobook read by Douglas Adams himself, but I lost it, it was amazing, all you can seem to buy now is the abridged versions which are rubbish.

@Annika You already started right? How is it?

@Tinka I really am liking it so far. It is a totally different genre than I am used to, but I love David Sedaris, and it's pretty hilarious. I've already gotten some weird looks from people when I laugh out loud on the bus, so that's always a good sign... It's an auto biography which I hadn't actually expected, but so for, I like it a lot.

@Jason, that's really strange, it's a short book, how can it be abridged even further? Anyyways, if we go down, we go down together... Unless I deny ever having seen that check mark... *dramatic music*

It was awful, 4 tracks each 40min long if I remember correctly, must look for it again, used to be on amazon for over £100, (about 40million Aus$) hehe

hahahaha something must have gone wrong with the conversion. Had a look on amazon and can't even find it anymore, only audiobook version is the 4 cassette edition which was the cut down version.

How did you like it? It is one of my all time favorites

Yes it was very good, possibly a bit too much violence in it for me. Puts American psyche to shame.

I don't even have time to read anymore...

I always have a book with me so if I get a few moments to read I will always be ready to go.

Same as Jason. I almost never leave the house without a book. Since I mostly use public transportation I always read on the subway or bus

Anybody still doing this? 4 books completed, on book 5 at the moment.

Yup, but thanks to my uni reading schedule currently no time for it. Already completed three books of the challenge

I completed the cover that I love , unfortunately I didn't love the book. In fact, it kinda sucked.
