Danielle (librarian19) | 45 comments Having a hard time with this one. I feel like all the books written in the decade I was born I've either already read or have no interest. Any good suggestions for 1980s?

Susan (quackingup) | 27 comments Some of my favorites from the decade were Mists of Avalon, clan of the Cave Bear and the second book Valley of the Horses, which I liked even better, and Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe.

Danielle (librarian19) | 45 comments Thanks Susan! I've read Mists of Avalon - pretty obsessed as a teen with that series. I love the movie Fried Green Tomatoes so maybe I should read the short story after all these years.
