Sounds interesting! Nice when you pick a good first book. I didn't. lol

Elyse, Just looked to see what your first read of the year was - so disappointed for you! I actually had been looking at your first two reads of 2018, think I'll move them further down my TBR list. Also, I've never read any of Sue Grafton's alphabet mysteries - may need to move those up on the list!

The Sue Grafton series is very good! Some books better than others but as a whole I'd give it 4 1/2 stars! Unfortunately she recently passed away so Z will never be published and we'll never get a real conclusion but it's still worth reading! :)

Throughout the reading of this book I laughed and I cried. Elizabeth Berg is a gifted author who's characters are so real that I found it difficult to turn that last page - I did not want this story to end. This is a book that will be read over and over again! It is truly a gift to the reader.

Sounds great, I just got my hands on a copy of this, I'm going to bump it up on my list.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! There's something satisfying about starting off the year with page-turner that you don't want to put down!

WOW!! I just finished it, and it is great. It was worth every twist and turn.

Yep, my thoughts exactly!

Last book?!?!?!? No No No say it is not so!! I just mentioned in my last review how upset I would be when this series ended.

Yes, Bradley only had a 10-book plan. Maybe fan fervor will keep him writing?! It comes out next year; The Golden Tresses of the Dead.

I just love Elizabeth Berg! She is one of the authors that made me love reading again after high school.

Oh bummer I didn't realize this was a sequel/companion to Arthur Truluv! Now I have to read that first! Which I also got from NetGalley last year and still haven't read. lol. I get Elizabeth Berg confused with Elizabeth Gilbert. I have not read a Berg book yet.
