A Head Full of Ghosts & Sharp Objects really stuck with me. They were dark and gritty but sooooo good!

I also liked And Then There Were None.

Susy (susysstories) They’re all on my TBR! But seems 2018 is already fully planned with buddy reads and dust bunnies I really have to clear!

I know what you mean! lol I have so many books to read. I am hoping at least 75% of new year's reads will come from my over-stuffed shelves lol

Claire | 3 comments I enjoyed The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy immensely. I loved Room by Emma Donoghue and A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman , was deeply moved by Exit West by Mohsin Hamid and Half of a Yellow Sun by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie . Also very happy with anything from Robin Hobb and for fantasy thought The Bird and the Sword (The Bird and the Sword Chronicles, #1) by Amy Harmon was excellent.
My favourite authors this year were Ernest Hemingway Julian Barnes and Haruki Murakami and Kazuo Ishiguro.

I want to read A Man Called Ove & Room so badly. Hopefully next year for our challenge lol

Stephanie I started reading manga this year, and it's one of my favorite genres now. Out of the "regular" books I read, there were several I liked a whole lot, but the one I fell desperately in love with is Catch-22.

Awesome! I read a graphic novel this year I enjoyed. Maybe I'll check out something manga next year :)

Lilac Girls by Martha Hall Kelly was just as amazing and heartbreaking as my friend said it would be.

And I literally just finished Turtles All the Way Down by John Green ...whenever anyone has questions about my anxiety in the future, I'm just going to give them that book. Wow.
