Something about the way this is written has taken me a while to get into it. But now I am 150 pages or so in and it is coming together for me. I think it might be that it is a little dated. Just taking a bit to get my brain realigned to the late 70s/early 80s political climate.

Lot's of long flashbacks in this book. Not saying that's good or bad, just an observation.
