I read Grist Mill Road by Christopher Yates because it had a rope on the cover. It is a story about something that happened to 3 middle school students and how it resurfaces later in life and you get a more complete picture of what happened.
I read Against the Ropes by Sarah Castille. It’s been deemed as Fifty Shades meets Flight Club. I would say that’s pretty appropriate although I feel the storyline is better than Fifty Shades, there’s certainly a strong similarity between the two - overly protective rich guy meets meek, poor girl type of story.
