this does not need to be set in Minnesota - just written by someone who identifies as a Minnesota author

Gone to Dust by Matt Goldman--a detective/murder mystery set in Edina. It's fun to read his references to local spots.

Can I cheat and put in a book set in MN?
Specifically Scorpio Hates Virgo. The author is from New Zealand, but oddly teh book takes place right here in our good old Twin Cities.

Any Minnesota books are good! :) And this one sounds fun!!

This did not take place in MN; but the author lives here now; and the story of challenging home renovations is true no matter where you are!
