Nikki Pope | 1 comments Hello everybody!

I am new to Good Reads and have come along to see if anyone can help me.

I am writing a new film which is set in the 1940's/ 50's and I need to find a book that I might be able to buy off amazon that can help me research this topic thoroughly.

I look forward to becoming more involved in this community and hope to also help where I can.

Thank you!

Nikki

Feliks (dzerzhinsky) | 8 comments I can recommend books and resources if the OP is still looking. That era is well-known to me.

It's not just books, either: there's a wealth of information about mid-century. Its when media really took off and culture/society first began to be recorded in one way or another. WWII was the first 'filmed' war, for example, the first time we had movie units sent to the Front.
