I'm back! After a month and a half of super intense Latin study, I am more or less able to read the first paragraph of Holberg. Woohoo!

Below is my translation (hidden to avoid spoilers):

Weird translation. But I've learned a lot so far, and my translation makes some sense even if it's not entirely idiomatic. I will get better with practice. Feel free to propose corrections (and help me figure out why the translation in brackets is correct based on the Latin next to it).
