Hello everyone! My name is Kate and I am addicted to books. I joined this group with one dream in mind, to read adamantly with a group of individuals that share a similar taste in genres. From classics all the way to YA, I want to discuss my current reads, as well as buddy discussions. With that being said, I look forward to getting to know all you beautiful new members.
Hello All! I love to read, and I am expanding my boundaries when it comes to books. I am most at home with historical books, but have read so many different books this past year: YA, Fantasy, Fairy tail, more non-fiction, and Greek writers, etc. I may not always read what you post, not because I don't want to, but because I am now helping my daughter with her 5 year old son, and because I am in a book club. However, I will do my utmost to be involved, and to read the books, and I promise I will give this group my attention, because it is important to me, and I look forward to being a part of this group. (I hope I don't sound too blah/and or snarky. I really do look forward to this!)
Hi! My name is Karthik and I too am addicted to books. I joined this group because the name of the group caught my eye - The Invisible Librarians. Where did you get the title from Kate? I look forward to making some good friends here.
Hello,My name is Hans, I'm Dutch but prefer to read in English. I've been a reader for most of my life. I've only recently found reading is the love of my life. Wherever I go, there's always a book in my bag. I still prefer to read a paperback. Occasionally I read I do read an e-book. But only if there is no paperback version available (any more). I mainly read thrillers and sometimes a bit of fiction.
I'm looking forward to share opinions about books with other members. Happy reading!

Welcome SamuraiKitty!
Is there a preferred era in history that you like to read? I have a thing about the Revolutionary War.. I don’t know why but I’m fascinated with America’s Founding Fathers. Also, I like to read about European history.
We understand that it might be difficult at times to keep up with the group, however, your effort will always and forever be appreciated. You don’t sound snarky or blah one bit. Thank you for joining our group and taking the time to respond to this thread. Don’t forget to submit an entry for January’s Buddy Read.

It’s truly an addiction that might be the financial death of me. Haha
Our group name was inspired by hours of racking our brains for a blog name. Alex and I went through what felt like hundreds of name combinations, eventually landing on The Invisible Librarians. It got to the point that we ended up reading off titles from our personal libraries, then adding a twist. Alex was already a seasoned reviewer and I was volunteering at the library so once the name was introduced, it just clicked.
We are glad that you decided to join the group and took the time to introduce yourself. Don’t forget to submit an entry for January’s Buddy Read.

Welcome Hans!
We are glad to have you. How are the Netherlands this time of year?
To be honest Hans, the same realization occurred to me last year. I have been an avid reader since I was about 6 years old, however, it was never a true obsession until fairly recent.
I started off with paperbacks, but of course will every obsession it branches out to other forms. Now I carry a physical copy (hardcover or paperback), audiobooks and an e-reader wherever I go. Some formats seem more socially appropriate than others when reading in public, therefore I try to accommodate such situations. Then again it could very well be another excuse for my addiction. Who knows!
I’m glad you favor thrillers since you’ll be able to recommend some good ones. Currently, I am lacking in the genre. Thank you for taking the time to introduce yourself. We appreciate your contributions to the group and look forward to reading your perspective. Happy reading indeed!
Hello, my name is Alex. I love to read, even if I am currently in a book slump. I am trying to dig myself out of it. I could read anything from children's books to non-fiction. It really depends on the mood. My favorite genre is Fantasy. I am fascinated with the world building. BUT my favorite book is Pride and Prejudice, by Jane Austen. I love falling in love with Mr. Darcy.
Nice to meet you all! Happy reading!

Hello, I'm Malavika. I live in India and I love to read. I'm someone who was plagued with reader's block (not sure if it that's what it's called) for the past couple of years. I'm back on track now and getting ready to make up for the lag. I read fiction mostly, with fantasy and war novels being the favourites.
Hope we'll all have fun reading!!

Welcome Malavika!
We have all had our fair share of “reader's block”. Sometimes your mind just needs a break in order to be open to more worlds.
What is your favorite war novel? I can’t pinpoint one myself. We’re happy to have you in this group and look forward to your written contributions. Don’t forget to add your suggested titles in January’s Buddy Read.
hello, I'm gill, I love to read historical fiction and romance and any combination of the two. I love group reads with a good discussion. Nowadays I mostly read e-books, if I read a real physical book then it probably came from the library or the charity bookshop, I have so many books in my house I have to keep some in piles behind the sofa becouse i have run out of shelves.
Hi! My name is Holly and I just love to read! I like mostly historical fiction and fantasy, but usually if it seems like a great story I will read it. I’m currently reading Origin by Dan Brown and I also love Jane Austen!

Having piles of books behind your sofa sounds like easy access and now I want to start doing that. Haha
That combo of historical fict and romance is always a good one.
Lately, I’ve been pretty dependent on my audiobooks and e-reader (more than I care to admit out loud).
We’re glad to have you along and thanks for joining!

I’ve been hearing about Origin, although I have yet to look into it. Seems like almost everyone can agree with those genres which should make the Buddy Read a bit easier to narrow down.
Thanks for joining our little group and we look forward to reviewing with you ^.^
Hi guys!!!I'm Sarbjot, I'm 14 years old (i know right,) I hate when people say. "OMG, you're gonna go mental while reading a lot of books.." NO ONE GOES MENTAL WHILE READING BOOKS. I hope I made myself clear, sorry for the shouting. But anyways, I'm in love with romance books, they somehow capture me in a world of love. I'm currently reading "Reached," by Ally Condle. I truly hope I could fit in this club, the clubs I'm currently in, are really getting boring. Hope this doesn't disappoint me :)

Hey Sarbjot! Thanks for joining us! I hope you enjoy the group as well!
I never heard anyone say "you will go mental while reading a lot of books" before. That is a new one for me. I guess, I don't have a lot of friends either, but I am older. haha.
