We are half way through the year. It is time to catch up on some reading. The July Read-A-Thon is here to help you get back on track. The Read-A-Thon will be held from July 19th (Saturday) until July 26th, starting and ending at 10 A.M. (We use PST as the default time, but you may adjust to your local time.)

Here is the sign-up for the read-a-thon, so let us know if you are planning to join us. (Of course, you don't actually have to sign-up to participate.) We hope you will join us during the week as we try to topple our tbr stacks and find new books through our friends' recommendations. It is always lots of fun!

Let's try something NEW. Choose 1 goal for this read-a-thon. Whether it is to read 1 book, 5 or 10. Whether you want to read 2 books with red covers or a book in another language or about a certain topic. Or one of those top 100 books. State your goal here. Let's see how that goes!

Just 1 goal. Keep it simple. It's only a week!

Ann A (readerann) I'm in, even though I won't be able to update every day.

My main goal is to finish The Goldfinch. I started it awhile ago and like it a lot - it just keeps getting put aside for library books that have come off hold, my Kindle breaking, etc.

My goal is 250-300 pages/day and 5 books for the week. School will be starting up soon, so I need get in as much pleasure reading as I can!

My TBR hasn't been decided yet, apart from finishing Lolita... I guess depends on what I find at the library :P
