(view spoiler)[Weiss got impaled by Pyrrha's spear that was thrown by Cinder, who is incessantly picking on poor Jaune. Tyrion said that Jaune interested him, so Cinder and Co. are probably very aware of him and keeping an eye out for him. He's likely destined for greatness, right? (hide spoiler)]

Anyone else a little disappointed with Jaune's semblance? I guess we were all expecting healing because of last week's episode, but I kind of wanted more. When RWBY gets a traumatic moment, she levels up with silver eyes. When anybody else gets mad or is pushed to their limits, they are able to push back against adversity with an awesome new power. The end of last episode had me thinking Jaune was going to explode in righteous fury with some new, kickbutt power. It felt like they were going through the motions with it. Maybe they'll do more with it, but I was sort of hoping for something more powerful. I suppose it's good to have characters that aren't just outright gods, though. Support heroes are fine, but Jaune can't do the awesome fly-through-the-air power attacks yet. I suppose it suits him, though. The ability he would kill for, to save the people he hasn't lost yet. In other words, Vernal isn't the spring maiden! That was a total twist! How did Cinder freeze Raven, though? Winter Maiden? They wouldn't do something as important as that off screen though, right? I have a feeling that Yang's mom is gonna die, and Yang is gonna be the next Spring Maiden. Thus, Haven likely falls, but the vault remains sealed. You could tell that Raven was anticipating back-stabbery. She was waiting on Cinder to do something like this. She just wasn't prepared for Cinder's tricks. After all, Cinder is part Grimm! How does that happen? That's freaky! Will the Grimm part of her destroy the Fall Maiden eventually? Will it slowly take over and kill Cinder? Cinder may become a new Nuckelavee (That horse-human grimm). Think about it, humanoid Grimm? Stretchy arms? We now know why RWBY is so effective! The silver eyes work on Grimm, not specifically on the Fall Maiden. I wonder if there is any way for Cinder to save herself at this point. Also, what if Raven killed Summer to get the Spring Maiden's power? Summer could probably take out any Grimm, so a human likely killed her, and she was leader of team Stark. (hide spoiler)]

I LOVE Jaunes semblance it fits so well with his character: "we have to stop them, so we don't lose anyone else, I'm just tired of loosing everything, we can't lose you/can't lose anyone else!

and if healing IS his semblance, its OP as f*ck! If he can figure out a way to make the healing power fast, he could all but insure RNJR's victory!

(but i don't think its "healing" - i think he's transferring his aura to Weiss - like how Pyrrha transfered her aura to Jaune, when he first had is aura activated)

(view spoiler)[Something was radiating from Jaune into Weiss. I love him and his semblance, but it wasn’t flashy or done in the heat of emotion like I was hoping it would be framed. All in all, waiting five seasons for it seems odd. Aurra protects, but it doesn’t heal. I think it is simply healing. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I'm pretty sure Jaune was in a LOT of emotional distress over the last 2 episodes, probably around the same amount of stress that Ren was in when he unlocked his semblance.

activating his semblance to save one of his friends/his crush, was great (to me)

Jaune's whole character arc, from vol 1 was learning about what being a hero really means. vol 1 Jaune was a selfish hero wanna-be. Over the course of the series he's learned to be self-less, he seems to have a death-wish now, which is sad. But still!

Now he has the power to protect the people he cares about! It's the manifestation of who he really is - or who he wants to be.

(view spoiler)[I think that pacing is the issue here - RT doesn't seem to know what to do with the 2 extra episodes, so now we get a bunch of, stuff. I LIKE the focus on world building and character interactions, but the shows to struggle with maintain a pace now.

(view spoiler)[Now he has a reason to live; the longer he lives, the longer he can save the heroes he idolizes. No more death wish! Volume 1 he really was just an idiot who dreamed of heroics. His character development has been amazing; he's recognized his shortcomings, addressed them, and is willing to do anything for good. I love his character.

Pacing was rough, really. The villains stood back to let all the heroes regroup and rethink everything. Cinder just let Jaune go. They didn't press their advantage. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ All I can say about Cinder is that she's...a smug snake. Hazel(NEW TARGET ACQUIRED) had his berserk button pushed (Ozpins little "oh no" and "no - RUN" where GREAT) Emerald apparently skittered across the room after Ruby was knocked out (Emerald is so scared of Ruby its great!) I was kind of hoping that Yang would bust out the righteous fury after seeing Weiss go down, but: the PTSD is strong. Ruby's "No, i'm ANGRY" line----LET THE BUTT KICKING COMMENCE (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[YES. Hazel just put dust into his veins. That CANNOT be healthy. Emerald is willing to stand up to Ruby to defend Cinder. Emerald seems to owe Cinder, but maybe she hates what Cinder is becoming? Hmm... She doesn't seem irredeemable, as in the beginning of the season, she was horrified at the Grimm spawn point.

I mainly use my uncles crunchyroll and funimation accounts, as well as hulu and “Netflix. Ever sense i got those i have been doing less stuff illegally. The only time is when i cant find the show anywhere else and am forced to.

I watch most of my stuff on Roosterteeth, Youtube or Netflix. Oh and Amazon video

I like crunchyroll because they can get me the shows an hour after they aired in Japan.

Leo got what he was begging for. I must have a little bit of Salem in me, cuz I thought the dark parts were really cool!
