Ryan (ryanreyes) | 1 comments Hi All,

I'm trying to create a personal 'study course' on confessionalism in general. I already have read Carl Trueman's 'The Creedal Imperative' and Samuel Miller's 'The Utility and Importance of Creeds and Confession' but I'm thinking of reading more on the subject.

Here is the list in my bag:
- Reformed Confessions Harmonized (Joel Beeke/Sinclair Ferguson)
- The Practice of Confessional Subscription (David Hall)
- Credo (Jaroslav Pelikan)
- Creeds, Councils, and Christ (Gerald Bray)

Do you have any other suggestions in mind?

Thanks and regards,
Ryan

Hobart (hcnewton) | 4 comments Haven't read the Pelikan book, but that's a pretty good list already. There's some really good material in Confessing Our Hope: Essays Celebrating the Life and Ministry of Morton H. Smith edited by Joseph A. Pipa Jr., C.N. Wilborn and R. Scott Clark's Recovering the Reformed Confession.
