Outliers The Story of Success by Malcolm Gladwell

I haven't read any complete book till now, but now i've planned to complete this book in couple of weeks.

Outliers is my favorite book, ive just read first chapter of it (The Mathew Effect) and i loved it how beautifully and weirdly Malcolm Gladwell shared the story of success. We just traditionlly relate success to hardwork etc, but success is more than that there are lot of other factors which ordinary mind cant even think of.

We mostly see what successful people want us to see by telling their success stories but they miss or hide the most important part of their story intentionally may be, to make people think that this was just one man show. This is true to some extent may be 20% , there's other 80% too that you'll come to know after reading Outliers.

Now whenever i'm listening to people, most of the time im doing maths(Analysis) in my head. They just tell you the 20% as 100% but then you're trying to filter out their 20% and calculating the hidden 80% and then you add 20%+ 80%(Hidden) = Accumulative success, the real success story, this is fun. And it relates to our real life examples.
There's no doubt reading books and knowledge makes you smart.
I will share my reviews again after completing this book.

Take out time and do read this book.

Sana | 1 comments I'm not into reading books/novels.
Though i started a book couple of months ago. Road less travelled by M. Scott Peck.
Initially I liked it. First two sections was really inspiring. I liked it because there are many events which can be related to anyone's life. Or real life difficulties/Stress .
Infact if anyone is dealing with anxiety or depression.He/she should give it a try.

"Once we truly know that life is difficult - once we truly understand and accept it - then life is no longer difficult. Because once it is accepted, the fact that life is difficult no longer matters"

I really liked that quote. But apart from some quotes and chapters, i began to lose interest and found it difficult to read rest of it. It was dry as hell. Didn't complete it.
I've started maturity by Osho. Hopefully will complete it.
Still finding out what kinda books i am interested in. The Road Less Traveled A New Psychology of Love, Traditional Values and Spiritual Growth by M. Scott Peck
