I loved these three chapters!They are full of details about the feelings and I like this.
I'm glad we meet again the five comrades and that there is a deeper insight in their thoughts.
In the part about Sergey Golovin there is an interesting thought that caught my attention: when he is training himself following the instructions of a German and then he gives up thinking that he could face Death better if he was weak.
At the end he starts again training because all that weakness was driving him crazy.
So my thought: is it better to face death with rationality and full comprehension of what is happening or is it better to be like dazed and dulling one's senses?
