The house of sin is a spacious abandoned mansion at the outskirts of overbrooke. The "mansion" was built as an art museum in 1791 and served its purpose until 1822 when a theft took place and all the valuable pieces were stolen. In a poor and small town, closed off to the world, no one was able to replace the art and the museum shut down. No one bought the land, nor the house, and it remained abandoned. But new beings inhabited the house along with their leader known as the Tempter. They watched the world around them evolve in their new quaint home. They watched the town fill with people. They watched the wars and the riots take place. They watched mankind fall into sin and temptation. They watched mankind destroy his own house and destroy his own fields and kill his own cattle. The town emaciated to nothing but a few rubbles. So the beings proposed a contract with the town "leader." For a price, they will see to it that the town will flourish. The children will remain innocent, the families will remain happy, and every farm and mill and factory will be plentiful. The price: a virgin to join them at the house of sin every lunar moon. Now, the beings are not supposed to lure in anyone else aside from that one human every lunar moon. But sometimes, they choose to break the rules. What's the worse that the humans can do anyways?

Residents of the house of sin::::

The Tempter; he is the immortal leader of the fallen angels. For centuries, he lured in humankind to fall into sin. Some say he was the one who gave Eve the apple, he was the one who encouraged Cain to kill his brother, he was the one who suggested Icarus to fly a bit higher and closer to the sun. He is the head of the House of Sin. He feeds off of impurity and takes enjoyment in guiding humankind toward the darkest paths.

Fallen Angels; the fallen angels were pure ones. Wings so white and laughter so high, they were the epitome of peacefulness and innocence. But they, like any human were lured in by the tempter. But they were weak enough to fall into his trap. Now with broken an charred wings, the fallen angels guide the Tempter in his earthly ordeal and make sure everything runs smoothly in Overbrooke. Especially since they caught a whiff of white angels somewhere in town.

Seven Deadly Sins; seven beings, each taking the form of a sin. No doubt they would work alongside the Tempter. Some day they are actually the Tempter's children, made by him so he could unleash each of them into the human world to do his bidding. Each one would be in charge of making a human fall into their own sin.

Angels; the angels are no match for the tempter, the fallen angels, and the seven deadly sins combined. But they try their best to reverse the effects of the being's on the townspeople. They try to return the fallen back to how they used to be before. And they are working on breaking the contract between the townspeople and the Tempter once and for all. Even though they do not live in the house of sin, the keep watchful eyes on any activity inside to stay a step ahead of the beings.

The Fallen; these are the once innocent townspeople who were either sacrificed on a lunar moon or were lured in by the beings themselves. They have fallen into sin and now reside in the house along with the beings.

The tempter, the fallen angels, the seven deadly sins, and the fallen have a complicated relationship to one another. They hold a close bond but they also house resentment, anger, jealousy, and hatred towards each other. Some can tolerate some, some are friends with some, some even have romantic feels for some. But the house of sin is not as peaceful as the town. It is chaos in its true form. Those that have not fallen are lucky to not be a part of it. They should enjoy normal human life before they too, get chosen to live in the house of sin.
