Hahaha! I read whatever I feel like at the moment - it keeps me always interested, thus not being bogged down in the same thing for a long time:):):) Just started this one, it is going well for now:)

Finished the first 12 chapters.

To be frank, after a month of Hobb and Wurts this one seems very clumsy and repetitive. (up to the point of becoming irritating) Luckily the plot is interesting and it pulled me in.

Nadine - there something so obviously wrong with her being there - why doesn't anybody see that. And one minute she is this clumsy country girl while the other she is cooly telling people do what she says. It just screams wrong to me.

Cara - her story is heartbreaking and I hope she'll be ok!!! I like her a lot.

Richard - I had forgotten he can be so bossy! :D

and Kahlan - perhaps at times she shouldn't be that headstrong?! I can't keep but wondering if going back to talk to that guy didn't really worsen things up.

Me too, girl, me too! The whole plague thing is really bumming me out... I am looking forward to every time we get a glimpse of Zedd, since he feels like the only light in the darkness, together with the Mord Sith... Everything else is kind of depressing so far, especially if you add the horrible murder on top of everything... I hope for something optimistic to show up at all...

Yeah. I completely agree.

I wonder if Verna isn't the one sister who will do something stupid.
And what I like in Goodkind's books is that he is plainly showing us from where the danger is coming (captain obvious from all sides) but he gives a big reveal kn the end as to the how said danger comes.

Not just not normal, it is pretty much impossible! I am drunkingly insane after 40 hrs with no sleep... And I hate that that traveling entity gives rides to anyone... They should have figured out a way to keep it just for the good guys...

I don't understand why all that craziness of Ch 56-59 had to happen at all! (view spoiler)[ I can't believe all this random weird wedding shit! Why would anyone demand such convoluted stuff for whatever reason, let alone to stop a plague...

I don't believe for a second that Nadine killed herself. I think Richard's brother killed her and I am convinced he is the only killing the prostitutes...

Also, Richard is such a selfish ass, running away in a tantrum of jealousy, while he is leaving all the people protected by the Raul bond to suffer...

Ch. 60... yep, he just admitted to the lust for killing... we knew that he was the killer... (hide spoiler)]...

Hahaha! Yes I did! And yes, it was, very much in the beginning... I remember him being all jealous and upset about it, but the way Nadine tells it, it was meant as a seduction scene... That woman is exactly what Khalan says she is, hahahaha:):):)

He had to be betrayed to be able to (view spoiler)[enter the hall of the betrayed inside that temple. I suppose that was the purpose. But that was badly done.
And storming off without a second thought pissed me off too.
Even I am convinced Drefan butchered Nadine and Richard new about it. All of a sudden. (hide spoiler)]

Exactly, girl, exactly! he is such a child when he gets pissed off... But I also hate that Kahlan is never "able to say anything" in the moments when she needs to be talking!!! Ghhhhr, girl, tell him what's up, don't just stand there all shocked and take it...

I've rated it a 4. It's not quite a 4 but rounded ot up. Some parts were really dissapointing and didn't quite make sense.
And it turned out that Richard was (view spoiler)[in fact the betrayer and that was needed to enter the temple? Well (big sigh) sometimes things don't go as we wish.

I hated it also that he killed Clarissa. He could have left Nathan with a bit of happiness and now he's bringing in extra 12 mordh sith for the next book to replace those who died? I don't know if I like anyone replaicing Raina. (hide spoiler)]
One thing is there. These books do give relief after heavy reading so I'm really ok with continuing the series the same way. Perhaps the next book will be better. (hope)

Hahaha! I feel you and agree:) I loved our three bodyguards, but we can't have everything we want... And I agree about Clarissa - that just made me cry!

On to the next book as per schedule - I am with you all the way:):):)

Thr parts of Zedd and Ann were hillarious! I absolutely loved those. Their mud play and then purposefull destruction of property just so they become useless - a strike of genius. 😁😁 They were pretty much the best part of this book. That and little Reggie. :)

And that scene with Cara and the cauldron was absolutely horrifying. When this author wants to shock you - he sure does know how to do it!
