I read a book last year from a no-name author that I thought was great. It was immersive, engaging and funny. I'm going to go ahead and post it here if anyone wants to check it out. Good work like this should be supported.

This does sound pretty great. This is my favorite line from the blurb:She chose to enter into a contract to have her wish fulfilled magically by a bitter and alcoholic 132yr. old Gypsy fortuneteller with a lot of unresolved anger issues.
My review of To Wish Upon a Star.Great fun, writing could have been very slightly more 'finished' (isolated editorial errors), characters could have been just a bit more rounded. But the story trumped these minor flaws. :)
Yeah, I'm a scary fast reader. I see it's less than 24 hours since I commented that I liked it, and since then I've bought, read and reviewed it. The scary part is that I bought another book with it, and read that first...!
