I'm going to nominate Sir Thomas the Hesitant and the Table of Less Valued Knights by Liam Perrin (yes it is that Liam). I have to say, IMHO, that it's very funny and it reminds me of Prachett and Gaiman.
I'll second Sir Thomas the Hesitant and the Table of Less Valued Knights and nominate Nice Dragons Finish Last.
How about some Irish Mythology>? I have been wanting to read Red Branch by Morgan Llywelyn for a long time.
I'll nominate Rivers of London by Ben Aaronovitch.Described as "English Dresden" or "Harry Potter grew up to be a London Cop"
and I'll second Disenchanted

I'll recommend Disenchanted by Robert Kroese. Quite funny, but also with some food for thought."

Place your book suggestions here, one nomination and one second per person. Do read through the rules first, please. Feel free to nominate books that have failed selection previously.
1. All nominations must be shelved on GR as fantasy primarily.
2. All nominations must be linked to their book page, or they'll be ignored.
3. All nominations must be seconded.
4. Check our group bookshelf as we won't be including books we've read since January 2015. Check here https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
5. No self-nominations.
You have a week to nominate, then I'll set up the poll.
I'll send a group email out this time as participation was so low last month although any postal nominations will not be actioned.
Have at it, Helen
