Always Late To The Party discussion

We clearly all love books. We're all members of a book club after all. What was the thing that gave you your love of reading?

For me, it was the "Warriors" series by Erin Hunter. I'm still crazy about that series and read the new books as they come out. I loved the idea of the cats forming their own society. I almost wished I could be part of that world.

I also have to give credit to Harry Potter. It wasn't the book series that got me to really love books, but it was one that I loved growing up. I honestly don't think I'd be the same person I am today without those books.

I always read something, but not very frequently. But for me, it was the Twilight Saga that put me on reading more often - I was an adolescent after all. ;)
But what kept me on reading was mostly the series The Black Jewels by Anne Bishop. Since this series, I really fall in love with reading.

I started reading quite early and just never really stopped. My favourite book I had when I was younger was called The Fish in Room 11. I had an obsession with mermaids at the time and I remember wanting to read anything with Fairies or Mermaids.
