Something is wrong, you can feel it! Something about this arena isn't right.. As you stand in the glass capsule, awaiting the arena above, you think as if the arena won't be what you expect. you look down at yourself, your clothing is made prior for warm weather: Combat boots, jean shorts, and a colored tanktop with a matching bandanna.

D1: Blue
D2: Green
D3: Yellow
D4: Orange

Then the capsule shifts, and you start to rise up to the surface. Your nearly quakering in your boots, having that feeling in your stomach telling you that it's gonna be a show. One hell of a show. Then the metal surface about your head opens, and the glass recedes. Then soon you can see the arena. Everything behind your and around is a forest, and in the near distance a large volcano. Ahead is the arena, which you already notice the rocky parkour you must cross to get the the metal structure. You have no time to think, hence the gong goes off. The games have begun.

Welcome to the Floating Arena

Terrain

The terrain is a floating island, literally. The skies are a dark grey, diming the bright sun. This makes the weather a mellow 70 degrees to upper sixties. Prior for it being an island, the arena can't be flat. The ground is scattered with forest and hills, and a large volcano towers in the distance. There are small underground watering holes, but there are none on the surface.

Cornucopia
(([Note: Think of Catching Fire]))

In order to get to the cornucopia, which is a large metal structure with one entrance. You must cross a rocky parkour bridge. Each pedistal has a path. Iside the metal structure, There is nothing but backpacks! However, there are numbers and letters on each, and they all have there own distinctive color.

The mutations are nothing but normal forest animals. They huntable. More will come soon..

LET THE GAMES BEGIN!

Jenika took off a split second before the gong went off, which by the time her foot went onto the ground the mines were deactivated. This gave her a speeding advantage, blazing over the rocky path like it was nothing. Jump after jump, she finally landed on the Cornucopia's rocky surface and rushed to the metal building. Jen picked up a Green Backpack marked 'D11F' and swung it over her shoulders. Immediately, on the side pouch, she sheathed her sword and rushed out of the building before anyone could step foot onto the Corncopia's main island. Jenika was fast, strong, and lonesome. Then, quicker than the speed of light, Jenika made the first kill, cutting down the district 9 boy with a sword threw the stomach. Spinning around, She cut the D11 boy's head off with no hesitation.

Jenika then looked around, who was next?

Zeke made his way off the platform as soon as he heard the horn through his ears. He dove into the water gracefully, but with difficulty, he had never swam before but was a quick study. He climbed upon the rock material, and ran to the cornucopia. He picked up what he could, dual Calvert swords, a water bottle, and a pair of binoculars. He made his way to a near by forest, dodging people, and flying weapons.

Maya was running flat out the moment the gong sounded. She grabbed the backpack which read 'D2F' and pulled it open. Withdrawing the daggers, she sliced the head from one of the male tributes who foolishly got in her way. As she kicked a second in the head - a fatal blow - she recognised them as the District 8 and District 10 boys, weak pests that they were. She sprinted away from the cornucopia, diving into the forest. Kaiden and Kai would just have to catch her later.

Rhea's heart hammered against her chest as she looked from left to right on her platform. She panted, trying to force down her panic. She looked around for Amaris, but she could see no sign of her. Suddenly the gong sounded. Rhea didn't even have any time to choose her strategy.
There were no supplies close by-she would have to run into the Cornucopia and grab the nearest supplies. If she didn't, she'd probably be dead by morning.
Rhea lept onto the rocks that led to the silver structure in the middle. She bounded from rock to rock. As she neared the Cornucopia, she slipped and fell into the water surrounding the Cornucopia. Almost instantly she clambered back onto the rock, and continued to the structure.
Tributes ran in all around her. Most paid no attention-they just wanted to get out of there. But a few Careers were more confident. They stayed, killing any tribute within their reach. Rhea knew she had to get out of there fast, or she'd be dead meat. She hadn't even allied with the Careers, but maybe they would go easy on her since she was one herself.
Rhea scanned the supplies. There was a backpack for each tribute. She snagged the one with a label that read, D4 Female, pulled out a trident attached on the side of backpack, and ran out of there. She couldn't wait in the copse of trees just outside the Cornucopia now. There was no need. All the tributes would grab their own supplies, unless they were killed or left the centre without anything.
Rhea had almost made it back to her platform when she remembered Amaris. She whirled around and looked about for her ally, but she was nowhere to be seen.
"Amaris!" she cried. "Amaris, where are you?!" Rhea knew she probably wouldn't be able to hear her over the commotion-even if she was still alive-but Rhea had to try anyway. "Amaris! Please, where are you?"

Amaris was strangely calm as she observed the arena from her platform, she noticed that there were no supplies outside the cornucopia so she decided to risk it, she was going in.
The gong sounded and she realized that she hadn't see Rhea, this is what caused Amaris to panic. She ran blindly on over the bridge connecting her platform to the cornucopia, it was chaos but she saw that the bags were labeled district wise so she one-mindedly searched for hers.
Amaris suddenly smacked into another tribute, it snapped her our of her daze. She shoved the tribute- a girl out of her way and grabbed her bag. Panting she walked quickly to a small outcrop of rock and surveyed the scene, momentarily hidden from view; and then beyond the Careers Amaris saw Rhea.
Taking a chance she darted out of her hiding place and through the throng, but she didn't get through unscathed- a blade probably wielded by a career lightly gashed her upper arm. Heart pumping and filled with adrenalin Amaris barely noticed, just continued sprinting towards the last place she saw Rhea.
Finally after what seemed a decade she saw her again on her platform. Amaris heard her call: "Amaris!" she cried. "Amaris, where are you?!" Rhea knew she probably wouldn't be able to hear her over the commotion-even if she was still alive-but Rhea had to try anyway. "Amaris! Please, where are you?" Overjoyed she replied shouting "Rhea I'm here!" while running down the bridge towards her, backpack firmly in grasp.

((By the way, if it's a floating island where does the lava come from? :P One more thing, where do you reserve kills?))

Rhea let out a sigh of relief when she saw Amaris. She jumped off her paltform and ran towards her.
"Amaris! Thank goodness!" she cried. "Do you have your backpack. Look, we can't watch from the outskirts because everyone will grab their own supplies. There'll be none to spare. What'll we do now?"
Rhea tried to catch her breath while looking around, taking in the arena properly. Surrounding the centre was plain forest. Great, rocky mountains loomed over it all here and there. Rhea recognised what looked like a volcano, and she felt a great sense of dread weigh her down. She knew that volcano was bound to erupt sometime in the arena, and she feared the time when it would.

"Rhea calm down I have my bag and I think at the moment the best course of action would be to get to high ground, or under ground- which would give us the best shelter if that volcano blows? Because I don't have any experience with volcanoes...." Nervousness of the impending doom and the danger of the Careers, Amaris said "Lets just go into the forest for now, we can decide exactly what to do when we've go some distance between us and the Careers. By the way Rhea you might want to take off that bandana- it's a lovely shade of orange, and orange doesn't blend well into a jungle." Amaris feeling strangely happy starts jogging into the Arena's jungle hoping for Rhea to follow and all the Careers- especially Maya and Maggie to be distracted and not notice where we go.

Rhea untied her bandana and stuffed it in her backpack. She glanced down at her orange outfit, but there was really nothing she could do about it-at all. She followed Amaris as they ran onto the beach and towards the forest, keeping her trident raised a little, ready to defend herself and Amaris in case anyone attacked.

((Oki, me go hunting now.))

Jenika for sure didn't have any allies, so she wanted to play hunter. Simple. Jenika hoisted the straps to her back and rushed off across the bridge. Anyone could see the floating short mob of hair running and jumping across the bridge and rushing into the forest...

Kaiden sprinted off of the starting block, and found his backpack immediately. Glancing inside, at a first look everything was recognizable to him. He just managed to catch a glimpse of Maya running into the forest. He took out the twin sabers, and used tthem to chop off the heads of the District 5 boy. Up ahead, another failing figure was in his sight- the District 6 boy. He also killed that one. Running through the forest, he caught sight of Rhea and Amaris. It seemed like they were heading off of the beach. He didn't want to deal with them, and saw Maya not far ahead. The moment he caught up to her, he tapped her shoulder so that she would know he was there.

Annika made her way off of her platform and retrieved her bag with ease, taking out the knives. She ran straight to the forest, not killing anyone as she didn't want to waste time. Immediately, she found a low hanging tree surrounded by lots of brush. Underneath that, she decided was her camp.

Since Rhea and Amaris was in at least some cover Amaris decided to look in her bag, which she found contained a long dagger-like knife, a pair of binoculars and.... "Rhea, what do you think these are?" Amaris asked with a puzzled expression, "I put them on and if I look at you I see red, but everything else is blue..." Suddenly a rabbit burst out of the undergrowth and sprinted away. "I...I think I know what these are for," she said a huge smile on her face. "They show heat, that's why if I look at myself or you it's red and the rabbit just clinched it, it was red too while everything else was blue, this could really help us- no one would be able to ambush us because we would see them! It might also help us if that volcano blows. Unfortunately I don't have any food or water, do you?"

Alexander sprinted off the plateform, and into the ocean. He did his best to carry himself up, and onto the floating rock. He sprinted to the cornucopia, seeing his district bag, flaring at him. He grabbed it and made his way to a beach that wasn't that far. "Maggie!" He yelled. He had been meaning to talk to her this entire time and he never got the chance. He waited a few minutes wanting to see if she was still alive.

((Okay two things, Sora will not be on this week due to a vacation, and second I have Fawn if you want someone to kill :) ))

Jenika slowed to a jog after separating from the cornucopia. The coast was clear. Jenika started walking alone, wanting to find high ground. If I find a hill I can see everything. she thinks. Hence I'll be able to map out the terrain.

Fawn easily swam out of the water and onto the rock. She was running along side another tribute who she couldn't make out who it was. She looked away and kept running. She stop at the cornucopia looking for her backpack.

Elita dived straight into the water fast when they banged the gong. She popped out of the water and ran straight towards the cornucopia. She hoped her mother's bloodbath skills will come to the test. She found her backpack and opened it quickly. She picked it up and gather her bow and arrow. Elita looked at Fawn and hurried down onto the water. She past the bloodbath and she got out safely.

(someone want to kill Kai when he tries to escape??)

Kai jumped in really late and swam fast. He got out quickly and ran straight towards the cornucopia. Elita was already out and alive and he was running straight towards the cornucopia. Kai was in there too long.
He couldn't find his backpack at all. He was done he continued searching but he couldn't find his at all. He gathered what he can and tried to jump but his foot was stuck under something.

Maya spun around, knives out, then relaxed once she saw that it was Kaiden. "Thank God it's you," she said. "I was watching the District Eleven girl, and she killed her partner. She is mentally insane, I believe."

Zeke was still on the forest line when he saw another tribute get stuck, he opened his pack and grabbed the two swords, he couldn't help himself. He ran back to the cornucopia and jumped back into the water, he dove under so that no one could see him until he made the surface. He was closer to the cornucopia and he climbed up. He held out his swords and stood in front of Kia. "Well what have we here?" He asked evilly.

Kai looked up and tried to pull his foot off. He almost got it free but he stared at the guy scared. He knew it was just Elita off. Kai was done but he looked up and tried to spot Elita. He sighed, "Fine a nerdy career." He grunted and tried to pull free. "Maya!!" He yelled trying to get her attention.

Elita looked at him from the edge of the forest. "Kai!" She shouted but wa late. She felt like she needed to go over there and get him to safety.
Elita shot an arrow straight to Zeke's arm and ran towards the forest.

Maya spun, running back to the edge of the forest to see Kai, foot trapped under a rock. "Wait here!" she told Kaiden, running to where Kai was stuck, another boy standing over him. She leaped, and kicked at the other boy, striking his face.

Kai got free and looked at her, "Thanks!" He exclaimed and ran with her fastly. He tried to find Elita but she was deep in the forest.

Elita climbed up a tree higher and higher. She was almost at the top and she killed a squirrel already. Elita held her bow and arrows and aiming for anyone she could find. She might shoot them in the head or something.

Zeke clutched his face, but he yelled out frustrated, he ran after the boy through the forest, we he saw him he ran even faster. When he was close enough he struck him in the arm with his sword, he waited to see him on the ground before attacking further.

Maya sprinted back to where Kaiden stood. "Ok, so where do we go now?" she asked. "I'd go somewhere near the volcano, somewhere the others won't go, but the Gamemakers'll probably cause an eruption very inconveniently. So on second thoughts, maybe we should just wait here and kill anyone who goes past. But then again, we do not know just how capable the majority of these tributes are. So, perhaps we should in fact, just hope for the best." She spat out the last phrase. Maya didn't like anything related or pertaining to luck. Luck was a falsehood for weaklings, teaching them to strive for their goals.

Kai kicked him by the leg and slashed his chest with his blade. "Sorry buddy but I gotta go!" He ran faster through the forest and climbed the nearest tree. Kai killed his first victim. He didn't seem like it was okay though.

Leaves crunching. A lot of them. Jenika sheathed her sword and looked around. The she recognized a familiar head of black hair. Zeke. Better go see what that punk is up to.. she thinks. She then silently dashes off after Zeke and the boy he was chasing.

Elita was up in the tree and saw Kai. She shot the girl the girl in the arm and hid in the leaves.
